That “interesting stupor” line was weird.

I didn’t normally watch CBS either; but I have to watch Medium and now the Good Wife. I’m a fan of legal dramas but was burnt out after The Practice ended. This is the first legal drama I’ve watched since the Practice and I have to say I’m impressed.

The first episode of the Good Wife didn’t immediately hook me; but I was slowly drawn in and its become must see tv. I was a fan of Margulies since ER and I don’t think she plays the characters much differently. Alicia and Nurse Hathaway both have this quiet strength and determination present.

That being said, I was kind of disappointed in the episode last night.

I’m a big fan of this show as well, and not a CBS viewer otherwise (excluding Dave Letterman). I can’t believe no one’s brought up Archie Punjabi yet! She is at the top of my list at the moment, she is awesome.

I love the show. I mainly started watching because of Christine Baranski and she is awesome as usual. I was not a fan of legal dramas before the Good Wife came along, but now…oh boy, am I hooked. I also love Julianna and Josh. Great great acting ensemble!!!

I agree with Lisa to an extent. I really enjoy the talent cast; however, with such an exciting premise it really disappointed me when it turned out to be yet another procedural drama. Then again, it is on CBS, so it shouldn’t have surprised me. They could have taken almost any angle, and that is what they chose.

A very smart stylish show loaded with great actors, with a slow sizzle instead of quick flash.

I love this show. This is not what I usually go for but The good wife completely took me by surprise. Love all the characters but I especially look forward to Alicia/Will. Can’t get enough of them. Also if Peter ends up with Alicia, I’ll have to stop watching. As much as I like Noth in the series, getting back with the cheating husband will be a step back for Alicia. So Will/Alicia is it for me.

Def. Will and Alicia for me too. I mean, Chris Noth is playing his role brilliantly — so one-eyed about getting his position back he’s totally forgotten he cheated on his wife and made her a national laughing stock! That Chelsea Handler interview — ouch!

Love how all the characters can be selfish and scheming and yet everyone has a good, decent side too. Can’t stand shows where you just can’t respect people. Will especially is a character who has obviously been ruthless in his pursuit of success, and yet there are all these glimpses of a really decent person locked inside. LOVED the ep where Will cussed out his friend for getting kickbacks for sending kids to that detention centre. Love Archie Punjabi’s character, another one who likes to appear cynical and ruthless but has a good heart.

I really like these characters and their complex interrelatioships, and as much as I love Chris Noth, really Alicia deserves better. Go Will!

Great article. I can¡¯t wait to hear more about your research tool. If it is as good as your other products, then you will have another winner. Your article pretty much summed up what I have been seeing too. Great to see some hard data.
