I thought that Batali and Lagasse did an excellent job. Top notch. They should have won. This was so political it was ridiculous. Did people really think that with Mrs. Obama there that her chef wouldn’t win?! What a waste of time for all involved. They should have just simply taken the money and given to whomever Michelle wanted to have it so that it better serve her B.S. projects. You go Lagasse and Batali!!!!!! You boys are great!!!!!!!!!!!!
Michelle’s outfit- WHY does the woman insist on wearing only sweaters small enough for her youngest daughter-she hasn’t one sweater that fits her! And what’s with the full skirts with the waistline up under her breasts- she
‘s stuck on that look and it’s just awful!
Knowing Michelle doesn’t cook, it wasn’t a surprise to hear her promoting sweet potatoes like they’re the next new thing when in fact every top restaurant has both sweet and savory on the menu- wasn’t surprised at all the fried foods either-too bad the influence from Michelle was not more about the actual vegetable garden and showing veggies in their more natural edible state like roasted or braised, vs. coupling them mostly with pastry, fried protein and heavy sauces. Only a couple of the meals were truly healthy- the show was definitely rigged- Batali and Lagasse’s food was far better.
Andrea D- Really, can there me more ridiculous outfits than most of what she wears? Recall that hideous argyle blue sweater that looked like it was buttoned the wrong way because the bottom was asymmetrical? I thought that took the cake, until this bizarre size 14 skirt with a child’s size 6x sweater- how can she go out in public much less be on TV in this get-up? A delusional first lady is all we need!
She’s trying to be Jackie Onassis but is failing quite miserably at it. Jackie was classy, Michelle looks likes she’s playing dress-up in her children’s closet.
ugh, i agree with others that the fix was in on this. there is just no way that the white house chef won by that many points.
i also got tired of the blatant obama propaganda, even though i voted for him. ugh, this was ridiculous.
I liked the show. Emeril’s and Batali’s dishes looked as if they would taste better BUT they also looked really protein heavy and fattening. I am ambivalent in regards to Bobby Flay. He is il divo but he is upfront about it. LOL
I love Michelle’s outfit by-the-way. Her style always has an air of “I-don’t-give-a-crap-what-others-say-I-like-it” about them.
Yeah and her I-don’t-give-a-crap-attitude shows in each and every outfit she wears.
So obvioulsy fixed. They spent the tasting raving over much of Mario and Emerils dishes and flat out di not care for a few of Flays and the WH Chef. Then after the tasting, all of a sudden they take the time to point out all the flaws with Mario and Emerils dish while building up Flays & WH chefs dishes. One of the areas that decided the winner was plating when in fact they made a point of saying they didnt care for Flays picnic themed plating. So it wa sobvious they judged honestly, then realized they needed to change it so that it wasnt as obvious the fix was in so they had that post meal sitdown discussing the dishes just to make it look more convincing.
Also, I thought Michelle Obama looked like a drag queen. Not trying to be mean, but she totally reminded me of one of those over the top cher impersonators or something like that. Like a big burly dude. Also looked like the fashion sense of what a big burly dude would think is fashionable or pretty rather then someone who supposedly has so much style.
I love Michelle Obama. She’s wholesome, smart and very sophisticated!!! America loves this woman.
I enjoyed this episode of Iron chef America so much. Mrs. Obama looked fab and I just think her garden is amazing.
Bless America
Ack! What is that horrible outfit she is wearing?!
Is she wearing Sasha’s sweater?
Michelle Obama has no sense of style. She dresses like a clown, despite what the MSM tries to tell us.
there is no reason for a good show to take this kind of stunt and get political be sides i would rather see them cook food for someone who cares not even us with computers
I watch the food network for the FOOD, recipes and culinary instruction. I don’t appreciate using the foodnetwork to educate in political insight or direction. I thought cooking was above the realm of political correctness. Obviously, I was wrong. It was nauseating–they lost at least one viewer and I will cease to buy ANY of the products that advertised in that time slot.
He looks like the twin to the flight 253 bomber, and has his morales also
