I agree with you all. I’ll keep my fingers crossed, as so many times before, hoping that this time he wins. He truly deserves it, being such a great actor, so sexy and being able to shine even in the films with bad plot. I am a huge fan. Some of my favourites, The Fisher King, Fearless, American Heart, The Vanishing, Blown Away. Thanks for the tips on what to see. There seem to be quite a few films that I don’t know. Anyway, I sincerely hope he will get that statue long overdue. If Hollywood is not aware of his truly unique genius, it’s a pity!
he’s long overdue for an oscar, and i loved crazy heart, but my favorites are the fabulous baker boys, jagged edge, fearless, but my number one is the fisher king. love the ponytail.

The Fisher King is my favorite Bridges movie. I see something new in it every time I watch. I love Amanda Plummer’s character too.
