Really liked the Napa home from The Parent Trap. Mel Gibson’s apartment in What Women Want was really nice to.
Though a hurricane blew it down, I liked the house in Rodanthe NC in the movie Nights in Rodanthe- call me a fool considering what storms do to the NC coast but my Mom’s side of the family is from Wilmington and all still live all over the NC coast. It’s the best and the people are the greatest!
I like Diane Keaton’s house christians-match
i know it’s a Nora Ephron film, but i would love to live in an NYC apt like Meg Ryan’s from “You’ve Got Mail”.
1. Jack’s townhouse from “Something’s Gotta Give”
2. Diane’s Hampton beach house from SGG
3. The gay men’s DC townhouse from “Protocol”
4. The gorgeous French chateau from “Private Benjamin” minus unfaithful fiance
I think Judy Benjamin’s first bridal house wasn’t anything to sniff at either; I think the bathroom floor Albert Brooks died on was very appealing.
Keatons Hampton house is why I watch it all the time. The colors the kitchen the bedroom her writing desk. I guess it is porn
I’m so happy to see I’m not the only person who fantasizes about these homes. I voted from Cameron’s LA Home. If only…
Glad to see someone else caught the NYC/Chicago snafu. One of the things I loved about WWW is seeing the many sides of Chicago — and old haunt. I stayed in China Town there a couple years back and wondered where that part was filmed. But after Its Complicated, I’m in love with Meryl Streep’s place… it has just the right blend of style and comfort. But my take is that a character who bakes/cooks as she does would never have bought that kitchen in the first place!
OMG! We have a contract on a house that looks so much like my dream home” Father of the bride house” I didn’t realize it, until I saw this house and was instantly drawn to it…It just needs to be painted white! We are so excited.
It’s a toss up between somethings gotta give and the beautiful house and property from it’s complicated in Santa Barbara. I love that garden!
Its such as you read my mind! You appear to grasp a lot about this, like you wrote the guide in it or something. I think that you just can do with a few percent to drive the message house a little bit, however instead of that, this is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
