Isn’t this about 3 hookers and their mother?
Okay people i live in Marrakesh (where the out of NY scenes were shot), and people do not wear turbans.
I repeat: we do not wear turbans
(well for starters it’s an exclusively masculine head dress ^^)
CAN NOT wait for the movie though!!!
the wedding was Samantha’s!
I’ve watched the series and the first movie – series = good – movie = not so much
One of the issues that always comes up on these boards is that “this is just entertainment” – are we kidding??? if this was ONLY entertainment would we all rush out to copy fashion outfits we cant afford? marry men who are beautiful AND wealthy?? and continue to fill our lives with pointless banter and expensive shoes?? This is not JUST entertainment ladies (dont lie to yourselves and to others) this is propaganda – I used to love the series because the ladies were relatable (at least to me) but over time they became wealthy socialites with an arrogance and and superficiality I can no longer stomach
Not exctied – will not pay for it – though I probably will watch it on TMN for free
It’s a little embarrassing, I suppose, to admit that, at the age of 43, that I am indeed looking forward to this sequel–although, not because of the vague trailer, which is greatly lacking in teasers, but simply BECAUSE. I suppose us long time fans of the show not need a reason.
One of my theories on what to expect?: In the last film, ‘Samantha’ and ‘Smith’ go separate ways with her telling him; “Someday you’re going to find a wonderful woman who loves being in a relationship”. Just perhaps, after two years of being single again, she realizes that singlehood no longer suits her and she seeks the comfortability of Smith. We did get a glimpse a few months back of Samantha in a wedding gown….just my thought–and hope, I suppose, for my favorite characters’ own ‘happy ending’.
Regardless, I will be there happily watching the gals ‘Carrie On’.
Well, there are so many rumors going around, like last time, who knows what is really true, other than this stupid trip to Morocco, which I could do without. Mexico bored me last time too, other than Charlotte’s little Pudding mishap! Let them stay home in NY and figure out their lives, no need for international intrigue. We will see what happens.
I will watch it, good or bad because I enjoy the characters. The first movie annoyed me in that it was DEFINITELY a bunch of unused series scripts pieced together, I guess the way they wanted to end with a 7th Season maybe. You could tell by the way the “fade to blacks” kept happening about every half our of the 2 1/2 of the film. I hope this time someone WROTE a new one, but I bet it’s more of those. Either way, I’ll be there on the 28th at midnite of the thursday night for the first show in Manhattan. It’s a tradition I want to uphold. It’s FUN, and that to me is what SATC is all about.
oh and before any of u get on my butt… HOUR was what I meant… our was a typo! I’m an adult and a very good speller.
everyone: be prepared for the onslaught of haters to come out of the woodwork. i’m not sure why this series and movie created such deep hatred… mostly from guys. i think it’s from a lack of understanding that there’s more to life than robots and vampires and blood. the series was universally acclaimed but when the ladies entered the domain of the male teen and 20something realm (movies)… the rhetoric exploded. and what fascinates me is how they hate but are drawn to these stories and are driven to insult and cry and whine about something they claim they don’t like. it’s pretty funny how much they get worked up over these 4 ladies.
i AGREE WITH EVERY SATC FAN!!! cant wait!!!! loving everything about it.. but it does make you wonder about the apartment though!?? Hmmm..
my fear is that big is going to cheat on carrie. i can’t watch it again. i spent 6 years watching it. everything ended happy with the last movie. can’t they just leave it with that? Idk…
