If this was supposed to be a kid movie, full of fail and all (a Chinese man, teaching a black kid Kung Fu, in China, and calling it all Karate) why don’t they make it a cartoon…..oh wait, they already did.

This movie has nothing to do with the karate kid, it’s awesome and the only draw back that I see is that the didn’t called it the Kung Fu Kid. I think The title hurts this movie since honestly you cant compare Kung Fu to Karate. Lets face it not only is Karate a rudimentary version of Kung Fu, Kung Fu is way cooler!!

First mistake? If he is the KARATE kid, why is he learning Kung Fu. Secondly, everyone says that this is a kiddies movie, but I can still watch the original now without cringing. Finally, in my opinion the original is a classic.
LOL Sassy we are all jealous of what? Not all of us can be spoon fed spoiled kids who have our parents ruining our futures before they begin. See Lindsay Lohan. Why this was remade is beyond me and the title is wrong and the whole premise is wrong.

i can`t understand how much after 26 years fans from the original hates the review. i enjoyed the movie and the mainacts were awesome. i dislike the original it is oldfashioned, and i don`t like the boy from the original.but i wouldnt blame him. i like the new one better, its fresh and the kid is believable and better acted.sorry for my english
