Any trailer that got me past the lamely punny title Knight & Day is worth watching. Any trailer that got me excited about Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise again, even moreso:
I still don’t know exactly what it’s about, and that’s what’s so cool. What’s even cooler? These two superstars reminding us why they’re superstars. Cameron Diaz is playing her trademark likable everygirl in an action-packed premise (half Charlie’s Angels, half My Best Friend’s Wedding). And Tom Cruise somehow seems to be combining his greatest hits — the flirtatious charm of Top Gun, the gun-toting swagger of Mission: Impossible, the self-deprecating (but still sexy!) humor of Jerry Maguire — into one enigmatic character here. I didn’t think about Scientology or couch-jumping for one second of this trailer. I just thought, “Oh, right, this is how we came to like this guy.”
But what did you think, PopWatchers? Are you psyched for Knight & Day after seeing this trailer? Can you think of something else we can call this movie before the title makes us hate it?
I saw this trailer before Avatar and thought it looked like a lot of fun, sort of a Mr. & Mrs. Smith-meets-Mission Impossible type of thing. Perfect 4th of July type of movie.
Same here. I was pleasantly surprised by the trailer, and I’m now actually looking forward to this.
I seen the trailer on YouTube, it looks like a real funny movie. I see Tom’s official Twitter channel tweeting about it.
I see that most people think the movie will be awesome. I guess if you are tired of the whole Twilight sequels you can go see Knight and Day. I am a huge fan of Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise had me laughing off of my seat in Tropic Thunder. Yep I will go see it.
Saw the trailer and me,my 14 yr old son and 22 yr old baby brother were cracking up! Hilarious enough for us to say “Gotta see that movie!” right after the trailer ended.
It looks like a good movie. I actually smiled when I watched the trailer.
I remember this one when it was called Bird On A Wire.

They were together before in Vanilla Sky. Great movie. Highly underrated.
I wonder whatever happened to the director’s cut being released? There’s supposed to be a 20 minute chase scene.
First time in I don’t even know how long that I see a Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz movie trailer where after watching it I thought, “Wow…I have to see this movie!!” Looks like a great time and it seems that everything I once loved about these two actors is FINALLY back. Can’t wait!

i’ll probably see it just because it’s filmed in my homestate! don’t really like tom cruise, but i like cameron diaz. should be interesting. and unlike some other movies that are filmed in other states, i’ll understand the city talk, lol. this looks like a good summer flick! what’s up with the spanish subtitles?

Cameron Diaz reminds me of Goldie Hawn in “Foul Play” or “Seems Like Old Times,” or “Bird On A Wire.”

I never stopped liking Tom Cruise so I’ll see this for sure. I like Cameron Diaz most of the time so I would consider her an asset to this and a good foil for Tom.
