I like Diane better than Katie, but there is no one like Charlie. We are really going to miss him.

Brian Williams is #1 all over the place so poor Diane’s debut really does’nt mean a thing. She will never touch Brian in the ratings pool and he was #1 even when Charlie was still on so please. She is good but not like Brian. Sorry

Who cares? Just like when Couric took over the news desk, who cares? Women have been equals in our society for a while now, if we keep pointing out the difference and making it a big deal, then we’re making a difference again. Diane Sawyer is the anchor? That’s nice, otherwise, what’s the big deal? WHO CARES?!?!?!?!

So, Diane; what is your theory/opinion? Pass Obama Health Care Bill so that more women can die in child birth? The media has been working extra hard promoting the Health care Bill.
Look at the Stimulus package; Leaving the country rather than stimulating jobs here for American’s. There just isn’t any sort of checks and balances and no one to watch over what is happening.

Diane Sawyer is a beautiful woman with a voice to match, Katy, on the other hand, sounds like fingernails on a chalk board. I’m from a time when women were, if not lovely, took the time to speak with a modulated tone. Diane is pleasant to listen to and truly reminds me of the Hollywood stars of the “good ole days”. She is intelligent and does not display likes or dislikes of any political party. I think more female correspondents should learn from this “true veteran” who shows grace and femininity and a great amount of intelligence. Many of the latest correspondents depend on “high heels” and “crossed legs” although that doesn’t help their broadcasting talents. Diane, on the other hand, with her velvety voice and lovely classy good looks, beats all of them,including the younger ones.
Keep up the good work Diane, I enjoy watching your program and, I might add that your show is beginning to compete with Fox, as long as you keep your show “fair and balanced”. I am proud of you for representing women of a mature age (as am I) and beating out all of the younger ones, who have a lot to learn and will never have your charm and charisma.Keep up the good work Diane and your network may do better with their ratings, sorry to mention that but some of the major channels are too “opinionated” to be broadcasting on such a major network. Stay lovely and keep making us “mature” gals proud that we have a “Diane Sawyer” the last of a dying breed…oh, and I might mention that I am terribly disappointed in Barbara Walters lately; she is a parody of her former self, what in the world has she become? She has become a “yes” person attempting to please anyone who will watch that ridiculous show “the view” It’s so awful that I flip the channel as soon as it comes on, they’re just a bunch of silly women sitting around gabbing incessantly about “nothing”. If I were Barbara, I would join “larry king” and RETIRE! Larry is always about to fall asleep and Barbara, in her advanced age, can barely make it on stage, (time to pack it in Barbara) My opinion of you has gone down the drain, you should have left while you were on top. My hope,and I’m sure millions of others, is that the “young people” to whom Pres. Obama spoke, have realized that they were led by beautiful words that have substance yet can’t be delivered into positive action.
