I vote for the cast members of Pawn Stars! Love that show…Big Hoss, Chumley, Peaches, The Old Man. I want more info on these guys!!
Beyond belief shallow. Not one thinker, not one leader. Just disappear, Barbara, you’ve been around too long so much too long.
I don’t really see how Sarah Palin was particularly fascinating this year. I think her ship sailed last year, although she’s trying desperately to hold on to it.
I have no idea what is supposed to be fascinating about Michael’s children, or why they’re apparently each only worth a third of a person.
I don’t even know who Jenny Sanford IS, and again, I don’t feel like Glenn Beck did anything remotely different this year to make him any more fascinating, or not, than he has been in past years. This list is pretty much awful. I think Kate Gosselin and Lady Gaga were the only ones who have gotten as much press as to be called one of the most fascinating people of the year.
I just don’t get Adam Lambert. I don’t find him all thae fasinating. Nice guy and all and yes he can sing. But facinating. No.
All the people who were left off were left off for a good reason. Don’t want to hear from any of them. I loved Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert on that list.
LAME Barbara. I will make sure not to watch you as you just fell out of my “Most Fascinating” people. These people would be the ones who didn’t make my list. The Gosslins have not fascination as their whole lives are on reality TV or in the media news stands. What’s left?
Clearly Barbara has been over the hill for some time, and her list was obviously prepared by some 20 something interns who Barb considers hip. It’s amazing how, with the exceptation of Mrs. Obama, who married well, everyone else is in show business. I guess anyone who brings real value to society and demonstrates real accomplishment is of no interest to the NYC elite.
The most fascinating thing to me was how Barbara seemed to assume that no white people had heard of Tyler Perry before. Also, that the whole interview was about Perry’s mother and Barbara didn’t mention that she had passed away that morning.
This was done over a week ago…it wasn’t live and never is.
Yes, “fascinating” is quite subjective and is not necessarily a positive thing. Adolf Hitler was one of the most fascinating individuals in history. People who love him and people who hate him continue to read about him and watch documentaries on him which proves the continuing fascination with him.
This list of most fascinating people is one of the least fascinating things I’ve seen in a while and nobody should feel shamed for being left off of the list.
Whether you like him or not, Glenn Beck is a thinker and a doer. Kate Gosselin? Nah. Lady Gaga? Nah (should have been Taylor Swift) Sarah Palin? Yes, she’s very interesting, again, whether you like her or not. Michelle Obama? Nah. Brett Favre? Nah. Adam Lambert? Yeah (personally I don’t care, but he’s been talked about a lot this year) Tyler Perry? Sure, he’s had a big year. Michael Jacksons kids? Nah. Jenny Sanford? Nah.
Glenn Beck
Taylor Swift
Both of them should have definately been on there.
Also, there should have been Carrie Prejan, Ben Bernanke and Susan Boyle.
Taylor Swift? Shouldn’t you be able to carry a tune. She can’t. Country music industry is trying to reel in the younger crowd, but she is not the way. Most of Bab’s list was good, but Michelle, Gaga, MJ’s kids, adam? No way.
What did Palin do this year that was so fascinating? Last year, maybe. I’ll agree with Sully, Gaga, and even Taylor Swift. Boyle, sure. I’d say Barrack before Michelle, even if he was on it last year.
How about Balloon Boy’s dad? Hate to give him more publicity, but fascinating doesn’t begin to describe that nutcase.
..what about Captain Sully who landed that plane in the Hudson? HELLO??!!! Michelle Obama did nothing as fascinating as that~
umm… where did my comment go? was it offensive?
oh never mind… found it. : )
