This episode of MELROSE PLACE was absolutely amazing!!! Lived up to its name!
P.S. I love that we got to see 3 of the original characters in this episode. It brings my love for the actors of the original MP back when I see them again. I’m now bigger fans of them now than ever!
MELROSE PLACE is the best show on TV – it consistently gets better with every episode! This one knocked it out of the ballpark!
I have mixed feelings about this episode. I liked that Micheal’s wifw turned out be Sydney’s murderer. The pool scene was good. The Riley Jonah breakup was the right move. Ella and Jonah will be hot the way Amanda and Billy were in the original show.
I was most looking forward to seeing Amanda and Sydney in a flashback but the scene was sooo disappointing. It proved that the new writers don’t know Amanda at all. I was disappointed that the object Amanda was looking for was a painting. WHO CARES!!! A potentially intriguing mystery becane boring in two seconds. When did Amanda become a female Thomas Crown? I also hated that it was alluded that Amanda also hooked up with Micheal. Anybody remember when Micheal fell in love with Amanda when she had cancer. As soon as she got well he proposed and she laughed off the possibility of having a relationship w/ him. Amanda was too good for a sleaze like Micheal. I don’t find it believable that she would lower herself and sleep w/ him now.
I love Heather but these writers are simply weakening one of the best characters ever on tv.
I’ll admit that the writing isn’t crazy psycho as the original but it’s a whole lot better…and keep in mind to all the haters that the original show was a sinking ship until the second half of the first season. It wasn’t automatically a hit..so just give it a chance…It lokks like the show is coming back bigger and better with new characters so stop hating on it!!!!
Hold up. In the flash back, Sydney died at NIGHT! However, no one discovered her body or called the cops until the next DAY?
Maybe they were all asleep ? Didn’t Violet find the body in the morning ?
I KNEW it was Michael’s wife since last episode !! I feared that crazy-Violet would try to hurt Noah because of what his mother did but hopefully, she just made the boy orphan.
Good episode. Loved the Lauren storyline (though I agree fictional fake drugs is kinda lame) and I wondered if that would lead to someone knowing about her… second job, but nah, not in this episode. I’m happy Jonah and Riley split up. I like both of them but… not together. And that’ll hopefully lead to some new (interesting ?) characters turning up. Finally, I thought Auggie’s relapse was a little bit too much but hope it’ll lead to something good. Also, wasn’t it supposed to be the last episode for Ashlee Simpson and him ?
I love this show… The last episode was so great. Voilet is going to do some black magic to Riley I so see that coming. Amanda is great and I waiting to see who she’s going to hook up with.
the show does continue to get better and better- so people please- TUNE IN! So the show could continue. Any true melrose place fan from back in the day is sure to appreciate this new version. Yeah, it sucks that sydney was killed off again, but heather locklear is kicking butt on the new show. i just wish we didnt have to rely on teenagers to keep the show afloat. they’re too busy watching garbage like “vampire diaries”. yuk
I’m in the Uk, I get episodes from a friend. They shouldn’t have killed off Sydney, Laura Leighton is fantastic. I would like to see Kimberley back from the dead again as well. I only watch for the characters from the original Melrose. We want Amanda, Jo, kimberly, Jayne, Michael etc. Can we bring back Lynda grey as Amandas mum again? PLEASE. If more bitches required who better than Joan Collins, and Donna Mills. They still look fantastic, and a great to watch.

This last one was a Hooker, I loved it! It was what i was waiting on!
Wow. I watched the whole season over the Xmas holidays and I’m hooked! Appreciate the old characters, BUT Im watching for David and Jonah…they are adorable.
