personally. I thought the sketch was the funniest of the night. Blake Lively is not funny at all, but this sketch was ok. I didn’t think it was too long or that it was inappropriate; this type of material is what SNL is all about.
No apologies. This sketch was F-U-N-N-Y!!! Maybe you should watch a different show,
I agree w/ the first commenter, this situation just keeps getting MORE and MORE ridiculous that you can’t help but laugh at it! It’s hilarious to even think abt! I thought the skit went well.
yeah. it was funny. not gut wrenchingly funny, but still funny. i wish i could have been ‘a fly on the wall’ and been a “sneaky little creepy little”….oh, sorry, that role was already taken by the cheetah. yeah. it was funny.
LoL. When you have to EXPLAIN why something isn’t funny, it’s an indication that you have TOO much time on your hands OR you had a deadline to meet and had nothing to write about…so you wrote about the SNL sketch not being funny.
One word…pathetic.
The skit was funny. And anyone who thinks marital infidelity doesn’t matter is a moron. Personally I think we should make it a crime, because it is a breach of the marital contract that affects everyone, spouses and children and society – and I think we should put adulterers and their partners in public stocks, starting with Woods, Edwards, Spitzer, Sanford, and all the other public hypocrites who shattered their families and broke their wive’s and kid’s hearts.
Do you have any idea how common marital infidelity is?? Where are we gonna get all those stocks???
It was a joke…I don’t understand who would have taken it seriously. I also agree that SNL shouldn’t have to switch sketches just because of a musical guest or host. It actually wasn’t that bad either for SNL, it made me laugh.
SNL hasn’t been funny for years.
i thought it was hilarious
Sorry Margaret, you’re just overreaching on this one. The sketch was really amusing. You can’t get any more PC than me, and I laughed.
Jeeze, It was a comedy sketch, not a reenactment of actual events. Lighted up.
I thought the skit was hilarious.
The sketch was way funny..one of the best in a while..vintage SNL
Now that was funny!
Gee, Margie, do you notice a pattern? A lot of people thought the sketch was terrific. So you know, CNN was used as a “device” to allow the actors to make costume changes and to intro each phase of the joke. Are you truly that lame? Jeez, there are a lot of unemployed TALENTED writers out there who could really use your position. Move along, Margie. Move along.
