it want that funny, but it was ok.
It may have been in poor taste, but I thought it was funny. My only criticism is it was a waste of Blake Lively’s talent to just stand there – SNL has Abby Elliott to do those type of roles.
It was great..I hope that they ride him somore in the next few weeks. We need this stuff so we can laugh at ourself….cheater is always a cheater, where do think he learn this…..T.V.
lighten up people i always thought tiger woods was somewhat of a phony.. now i hear he doesnt sign autographs unless its for money, he is sullen with a personality of a rock, instead of his gorgeous faithful, wife who didnt know for years that he was cheatin on her…tiger you are so screwed….elin, take 500,000,000. you deserve it.
I just watched it online. I laughed out loud as one of the best written material for comedy. Honestly I feel upset that television critics such as those from EW are not easy to please. Being satirical towards a current event isn’t easy. Let’s face facts: Writing drama is easy, but comedy is hard. The Tiger Woods story is news and it was best perceived as such in a humorous manner. After 35 years of being on television, the comedy on SNL is still stronger than ever. The main problem is that the writers are trying to please the critics as if their opinions matter. Guess what. They don’t – the voice of critic in the entrainment industry is nothing more than a mere ‘professional’ opinion written within 500 words from someone who was educated to write like a journalist. The main difference between a journalist and this cut-and-paste article is the honest integrity of one. The only thing lazy is the fact there’s a lack of headlines and so something like a critique of mere SNL sketch had to fill-in-the-blanks, only to be attacked by several people to tell the writer to lighten up. Not only is that “lazy” journalism but seriously clutching at straws. Blake Lively comedic performance on SNL was outstanding last week and I hope she will host again in the future.
Keenan and Kell Forever !!!
The whole skit was as funny and as ridiculous as the real life situation it parodied!
It was FUNNY despite the double standard. My wife laughed too. Should I be scared?
In reality much comedy is “sad” but we still laugh as a stress reliever. Doesn’t mean the topic isn’t serious in reality.
Though he may just be the best golfer in the world, he will not be named husband of the year. What a beautiful wife and lovley children he has and to put Elin through all of this is just harsh. Though it really is none of our business just what he does behind closed doors, could some (not all) of these girls be lying? Though his private life is now so public just what did he think was going to happen? What a shame.
Great spoof.Really do think it is GREAT
This skit was hilarious. You people need to lighten up. It was just a funny bit on a TV show that makes fun of celebrities! You’re making way too big of a deal out of it.
I’m sure Phil Hartman’s kids were laughing were laughing their heads off.
hmmm…margaret lyons. i’m making a note never to read any of your reviews again. this skit was totally funny and not even that long. i enjoyed it thoroughly. as for poor taste, thats the point of snl. to poke fun at the news items too taboo for most other medias. boo on your review.
