I’ve started watching Realite recently and love listening to the critiques on SYTYCD, but please don’t let Kristen talk about it ever again. These dancers can actually dance and if you can’t appreciate that, you shouldn’t be yapping about it.
As great as she is talking about AI, her snarkiness doesn’t work for SYTYCD because it is a smaller, more sincere show about the arts. Just comes across a lil mean.
Love Kristen’s dry awesome humor – perfectly blended with Michael’s optimistic spirit. They are my favorite duo!!! Realite is a great addition and cannot want for Idolotry – the Averett Express Rocks!
Sorry, Slezak, but even the haikus cannot make up for my severe disappointment in not having more episodes of Réalité. Leaving before Top Chef?? And, thank G for Kristen. I feel the same way about SYTYCD. Everyone around me goes on and on while I want to slit my throat. But I love Réalité so much, I’ll sit through it with you. When will Réalité be back??
Kristen has no business talking about a show she doesn’t appreciate. Michael, she sucks the life right out of you and the whole piece just falls flat. Her snark is not funny to fans of the show. And really, who but serious fans tune in to the Realite segments anyhow? There is nuance and awesome to be discussed on SYTYCD, so why, why, why would you waste a coveted opinion slot on unfunny bitterness? Michael, your enthusiasm and insights shine week after week, but Kristen has yet to show me why she deserves a platform.
Just in case you really want to know about the 63 degree eggs, they are actually cooked. At 63-degrees Celsius, egg whites are just barely set and the yolks have a pudding-like consistency. To achieve this goal, eggs are cooked in a 63C waterbath for about an hour. The precision is important because at 65C the egg whites become “tender solid” as opposed just barely set at 63C.
I love you guys so much. You two have the best chemistry – watching you talk about Jersey Shore (even though I’ve never seen it) properly had me in fits of laughter.

Y’all are whack if you think Bryan Voltaggio is evil. The man hasn’t insulted anyone on the show ever, and has cooked his ass off. He’s the epitomy of what a chef should be. Kevin is too smarmy for words.

Aww, Mr. Slezak. Don’t leave us this way. How can you overlook the travesty of justice that is the DiLellos making it to the SYTYCD finale based solely on crocodile tears and pity votes? And Kristen, please don’t ever change. Your little bit of bitter makes the boob tube’s batter better!
