I noticed the Pride & Prejudice similarities as well. I first noticed it when Jason was talking about Will and said he wouldn’t help him with his dream job. I thought “Wow, he could be Wickham.” I then made my husband listen to Will’s/Darcy’s speech about his feelings. Seriously! Cute movie, though.
I think that Mr. May’s the hottest myself. And yes, I’m a guy.
um, he is absolutely gorg and i’m glad he’s finally on a show that isn’t cancelled/going to be cancelled and i’m glad he has a better haircut than on swingtown and DEAR GOD i love that he’s always playing bad boys and jerks with a soft heart hahah LOVE HIM.
also: his music video for ‘feigning interest’ is HILARIOUS.
I watched this last night, and I thought it was enjoyable, for the most part. It’s everything you’d expect from a Lifetime movie, which is what I needed to unwind to on a Sunday night. And I do like Kristen Chenowith, and Josh Hopkins is not bad on the eyes. I was, however, pretty upset that there was very little to do with Christmas, despite the fact that “Christmas” was in the title! Was there even a christmas song used at all throughout the movie? Just a bit disappointed that when I sat down for a cheesy christmas movie, I just got a cheesy romantic “comedy”. But it was cute, so I’ll forgive the obvious manipulation of the holiday season
I watched the first 2/3 of this movie purely by accident. His chest was delightful, but his character was so awful, bleh.
The most disappointing thing was Kristin Chenoweth. She was definitely the reason I stopped on the movie. I usually love her. But she was so awful, and I found just about everything about her character to be unrealistic, unappealing, unattractive. She was just not a convincing lead. Sorry Kristin.
Anna Chlumsky surprised me the most…she was really charming and natural, and made something true out of her character in what I saw. With that script, I think that couldn’t have been any small feat.
It was a fun movie….I could look at Josh Hopkins all day long. Love the shot of him, horse and champagne. Yummy!
Who plays Mr. May???
Looks like Jessie Pavelka from DietTribe.
I treid to IMBD the movie and he is not listed as a character in the movie. Thank goodnee for lifetime. I agree Josh Hopkins is hot. But I would have liked to see a little more of Eric the hot cop.
I know i did too…and i agree with you!!
all of “cougar” shows have women going gaga over hairless 6 pack ab’d men like you will see in Greenwich village or provincetown in the summer; all kind of jokes about “packages”. Sex in the city was written by gay men and had the same type of jokes, so does “cougar town”- written by gaymen for gay men.
It was a silly little trifle of a movie, made tolerable by the charm of KC and the scorching hotness of JH. I still think he was hotter on Swingtown, but I was pleased the folks behind this movie knew to capitalize on him being such a prize piece of man-meat.
Want to buy this movie “12 men of Christmas… where can I buy a copy? Please advise by e-mail & thanks.
does anyone know the name of the song playing when she is driving around in circles on the road, it has the line i keep riding this lonesome highway.. and who sings it.. thk
