What a great episode! I love the look on Ron’s face when Amy Poehler said her stripper name would be “Equality” and I also loved when Tom warned her that there would be things that she wouldn’t be able to unsee, or something like that. I love this show and I don’t think that there is one weak link in this ensemble. I also like how Amy Poehler’s character is becoming less like Steve Carell’s character on “The Office”. This show is clicking better because she is less wacky and more likeable as a smart, caring feminist who is sometimes clueless.
2 best lines:
1.) when Leslie talks about how horrible the 4th floor is and that they tried to make it better by selling popcorn, “but they used the wrong kind of oil and a bunch of people had to get their throats replaced” LOL!!
2) Donna about the strip club: “I can’t go back there. But if you see Jazmine, tell her she can keep Anthony, but I want my microwave back!” rotfl!
I love Donna! And Jerry! I have to wonder if they’re the reason this season is so much better. Were they even on last season?
Hilarious episode. The beginning part where Leslie went to the 4th floor nearly had me crying! “Hey, you need drug-free piss?” ROTFL! That place looked horrible!! Leslie was right!
There wasn’t a review of the hunting episode two weeks ago. That episode was probably the best one so far. I almost died laughing!
Loved this episode! PARKS is really coming into its own. And Ron and Tom are so funny. And to Fred, I think Family Matters or Full House is on the Nick at Nite or Crap for Tards network.
“Smells like a wet mop in here. And I get the feeling every one of these women is running a low-grade fever.”
Ron Swanson is my favorite character on TV right now.
I was touched at Ron picking up a passed out Tom like a child to carry him out, “He weighs 8 pounds.” Andy is a dimwitted character, but I find him appealing despite his utterly pathetic attempts to get Anne back. April seems to like him so maybe they’ll end up doing something, dunno…
I agree – they need to flesh out more of the April-Andy relationship. Not necessarily romantic, but they were a great team in the episode where they were practicing their spit-takes.
I like Andy, too, even if he is a buffoon, etc. He comes off as though his heart is in the right place.
To me he comes across like an overgrown, selfish child. In other words, a buffoon, who’s heart is completely not in the right place.
Equality!
*Ron’s look*
Quality entertainment in those five seconds!
That is comic gold. Agreeing with others, Ron protecting his “hello, beautiful” breakfast buffet was a hilarious touch.
It was 9 losses at pool . Double or nothing from $25.00 up to $6,400.
This show is not in the same stratosphere as Freaks and Geeks. This episode was about middle of the road, but the pool game was painfully predictable.
This show is especially funny for those of us who work for municipal governments!
