This show has got to come to an end. There is no point in what they do. They should have the X-men show up and wipe them all out. That or Godzilla. THEN I’d be excited about another episode of Heroes.
I completely agree with you when you said Heroes plays it too safe. They need to unleash their characters, Sylar especially. In fact Sylar is the only character I care about anymore. I just want to see him go up against the lame Sullivan carnival. For a villian who loves to steal powers from other superhumans, wouldn’t a place like the carnival be a delicious treat?
My favorite character on Heroes is Peter and boy did he make my cry! I thought the tie into season 1 was perfect as soon as they showed the roof I knew it was where Peter learned that he was like his brother, but so much more he was an empath. I was so sad when he lost his ability to gain everyone’s powers because that was the perfect ability to have especially with Sylar. I wonder if Tim Kring will grant my Christmas wish and bring Peter’s true ability back soon. I am hopeful that a really good Peter (Superman shall we say)storyline is in the works because Nathan said “You’ve always been everything that’s good in the world. And I got a feeling the world hasn’t seen nothing yet.” I just want Peter to become the focus again not only for the selfish reason of looking at the beautiful Milo(the reason i decided to watch in the first place) but because I think he is the heart of the show at least he used to be. I will forever be a fan of Heroes and hope that it is not over or at least does not end without a proper goodbye.
Don’t kill Sylar – kill this show already! It has turned from promising energetic good to unbelievably lethargic bad.
How’s this for a scene that would be way more awesome than anything last night:
The Haitian walks into his home. He looks up. Without warning, four knives fly at him. They strategically pin him against the wall. He’s in obvious pain… alive but bleeding to death..
Sylar steps from the shadows…
Sylar: I’m tired of you always getting in the way.
Hatian stares.
Sylar: Using your powers on me? Go ahead. Those wounds you have won’t heal on their own. You’re not the cheerleader. The truth is, I’d love to have your power. But having you dead is not a bad consolation prize.
Sylar holds a knife to the Haitian’s neck…
My point is… kill the Haitian, save the show.
Does EW just intentionally hire writers specifically to sh*t on Heroes? First Marc Bernardin (good riddance) and now this guy. Heroes may not be as good now as it was in season 1, but it’s hit a pretty good stride lately. Yet EW continues the hate parade. And the sheep follow blindly along…
How exactly did PEter absorb the power of someone whose power it is to block other people’s powers?
Hasnt it been established for awhile that the Haitain cant *not* stop blocking peoples powers?
Thus….he should have blocked Peter’s ability to absorb his power.
