MediaCurves.com conducted a study among 307 viewers of a news clip featuring “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert’s performance at the American Music Awards revealed that the majority of viewers (80%) reported that the performance was not appropriate. Furthermore, half of the viewers (50%) indicated that public reaction would have been different if a woman had given the performance. More in depth results can be seen at:

Thanks,
Ben
I used to like him a lot, but lately he’s been flying on this huge ego trip cloud and I don’t know, he’s kind of putting me off. In his first ever post Idol performance he conducted himself poorly and tasteless. He’s no Madonna!
Here’s the game … CBS exploited the situation to try to catapult their always-in-last-place morning show in to possible contention by blurring the performance of a gay male performer who is selling cd’s right now.
This is just the typically asinine decision that CBS News executives constantly make … right thinking (trying to boost ratings), but such ass-backwards execution that it ultimately makes them look terrible (see THE INSIDER for further confirmation).
As for Mr Lambert and the gay community, well … when CBS states that the reason they show a woman kissing a woman but blur a man kissing a man is that one image has been disseminated through the media and one has not, well then Mr. Lambert and the gay community is right. But CBS no doubt gambled on that they would get 2 days worth of headlines by 1- having Mr Lambert on when everyone else passed, and 2- eviscerating him by blurring his performance. They – of course – should have had him unedited AND they would have reaped much, MUCH greater headlines and showed that they could be “edgy”.
Of course, Harry Smith is probably “edgy” in the CBS dictionary!
Go away Adam Lambert. You’re repulsive.
Who is Adam Lambert? Didn’t he finish 2nd or 3rd on a game show or something?
Why don’t you all stick your heads in the sand. Do you have nothing better to do then fight back and forth. If you like Adam listen if you don’t then don’t. I love him and I listern to his music he has great talent. So what if he likes men.
I love this interview.Thank you.
