I am sick to death of all the nonsense going around this movie. It’s oh so cool to slam Kristen, it’s apparently even cooler to slam Chris. I am here to say… I really enjoyed this film. Me, an actual grownup with virtually no Twilight background. Caught Twilight a year after it came out on PPV – ordered the books the next day. Loved the books… For me Kristen is Bella and I think she is talented beyond her years. I appreciated the time and care Chris took with this film. Though New Moon was not my favorite in the Saga (I adored Breaking Dawn). I paid to see this film – twice. I am growing tired of people speaking for me. If I thought the movie was as bad as half the people here, I would not have purchased a second ticket. I was also pleased to see women/girls out in droves to see this movie. The first time I saw it the average age appeared to be over 30 and 80% women. By all accounts in the theater I was in – the movie was fully embraced.
Bottom line – I agree with Chris, if you are a fan of romance or the books – this movie is for you – Don’t base your choice to see this movie on people that get off on hating, hiding behind unknown names or people too insecure or jealous not to appreciate the lovely Kristen. Actually, without her in the lead I would have enjoyed the films as it is a great storyline – but for me, Kristen and Chris made it come to life.
