Mya was clearly the best–only watched the show because of her & will not be watching DWS again. The show should be called, “the star who gets the most votes regardless of talent”
They could have called it that, and been truthful…but it isn’t very catchy, and a lame title. Nothing has changed in all the seasons of this show, but disappointed fans still act like this is some huge conspiracy that they never saw coming. Pfffft!

For those of you that say you will never watch again, I hope you are telling the truth. All reality TV is garbage, and we need to take these shows DOWN!
Why because you don’t like them. What about the millions of other people who do?? Oh, I know, it’s all about you.
It seems to me that ever since Mario came in second, the wrong person has won this–Gilles, Mya, even John the first season!!
The only thing I can say is that Donny was less revolting than Marie was–Ugh!!
I agree about John. I also thought he should have won.
Kelly is an endearing girl who did engage the audience week after week. Donny has been performing for years and is a great family man. However, the best dancer week after week was MYA. If the freestyle dance is going to make or break the final results perhaps the professional dancers who make it to the finals in the future should choose routines that showcase their partners in the best possible light.
Well, apparently that’s a given to everyone except her partner. Even Mya knew she shouldn’t do a broadway song. Freestyle ought to play completely to their strengths!
The people that deserve to win don’t always do so. This is one of those times again. Mya was robbed and DEFINITELY deserved to win. She was the champion of the season.
I’m so glad Mya didn’t win, anyone but her.
It’s not about who is the best dancer, it’s about who has the most fans. Mya has been nothing but consistent and the best dancer the say the least. However, Donny had the fan base. Come on judges, let’s do something about crowning the real winners for next season.
Yeah and WHY is it about the fans?? Many of these arent big names, or they are has beens, they probably are on the show in the first place because fans, but isnt the show about who can cut it, as a dancer? even if they are a singer, actor, plumber, whatever? Who cares about the fans! Support is great, but what…!!! Shouldnt kill the entire competition. What bull!!
Not an expert on this show like some of you, but isn’t it also about the pro partner? Seemed like Kym really showed Donny to his best advantage and they were simpatico, an effective team. Mya had some tensions w/ her partner, and with Kelly, I was always somewhat worried that she would fall on the little guy and squish him like a bug.
I disagree – Kelly was paired with the perfect partner. He was patient and knew how to coax the best out of her. He overlooked her despondent moods, the dogs, the hats,phone calls, bows, and hairstyles teeheehee.
Did anyone else feel that Karina just plain didn’t like Aaron at the beginning of the show? She seemed cold towards him. Granted he was immature and stuck on himself at the start.
Kelly and Aaron were both children who grew up in homes that centered around “stars”, and they were not the star. It’s no wonder they had so much emotional neediness to heal. I think they did wonderful and the show has given them a gift by helping them realize their qualities. Aaron does need to leave his tongue in his mouth, though!
Who the contestant is paired with is important. However, I disagree that Kelly and Louis were a bad match. They were a good match. Donny and Kym seemed perfect though she also seemed perfect with Joey Fatone and still came in second.
There are 3 pros I never vote for because of attitude – Maks, Edyta, Karina.
A true unfair for Mya. She did the best dances of all. Winner should not be decided by one dance. I personally enjoyed Mya and her dances more than anything in the show
I guess this is where opinions come in because I don’t remember a single one of her dances. None of them stand out to me at all. I only remember the people who really made it look effortless and easy when they performed an enchanting dance. I never got that from Mya.
Let me re-phrase. I was rooting for Donny, and I was glad to see him win, but, no, he is not in the same category as Gilles. Gilles was the most handsome, sexiest, dancer I have ever watched on the show. I’ll never forget his Argentine tango!
Ah, Gilles. He was mesmerizing!
I was a Donny Osmond fan as a girl. I enjoyed watching him on DWTS, but it made me realize how old I’m getting

Gilles was best of the males. Kristi was best of the females. But, there have been some awesome women. Mya and Joanna are right up there with Sabrina, Mel B., Brooke and Melissa in my opinion.
Donny is fun and had the advantage of a very fun partner who showcased the fun between them.
It’s just a show. There’s no sense getting your undies in a bundie! Its’ all about the vote. We knew that from the beginning. I’m glad Donny won.

It’s interesting that everyone thinks Mya was robbed. It’s not a cumulative score! She and Donny had the same judges score this week, so it came down to the voters. Donny was more personable than Mya, he won, get over it.
I trying my best to not get upset with this cheesy show. Hell the whole night had more cheese than a bowl of mac ‘n cheese. Still, I hate it when anyone who was the best overall is deny her victory. And where was Kanya West when you need him?
Mya peaked too soon. She blew the freestyle just like Giles did last season. That opened the door for Donny. I’m sorry Mya, you are a good dancer, but lets face it. Your not Donny Osmond. America voted for it’s favorite. Let’s also try not to make this a race thing because Emmit Smith was not only the best dancer, America loved his personality. Let’s face it. If America loves you…you win! Donny worked hard and never whined about it!

I was very happy with the outcome of the show tonight. Donny was great. Mya was a good dancer but did not connect with the fans – she was very BLAH!!!! I thought that Kelly did a great job – she won me over with her hard work with Louie. Way to go Donny and Kym!!!!

Yeah. Kelly came far, but up to the very end, she’d glance at Louis out the corner of her eye to see whether she was following along okay. Made me nuts!
I think next season the show should cast only true amateur dancers and avoid stars with dancing experiences. From the start I believe most people saw Mya as the winner and that may has work against her as well in the end. And as Brooks said, Donny has the larger fan base.
