'Dancing With the Stars': The season 9 winner is....

I rooted for Donny all the way! I’m glad that he won he worked hard & deserved it. My second pick was Kelly hands down. Mya had the edge on both Donny & Kelly because she’s a trained dancer. Although I know Donny is very good in front of an audiance himself. As for Kelly she beamed & made DWTS a thrill to watch. Again I’m 49 yrs. old & Donny was a teen idol of mine so my heart went with him. Kelly should be so proud of herself. Way to go all of you.
You guys are taking this waaaay too seriously. I thought Gilles was overall the best dancer last year, I was upset with Mario not winning etc. Then this year, I just enjoyed the fact that there weren’t any Cloris Leachman’s or Jerry Springer’s. It was fun to watch all of the contestants improving and getting confidence in something in which they didn’t start out being good. Mya was agood dancer, but face it, she was a professional dancer and was very good to begin the contest. I was hoping Joanna would be in the top three, but I’m happy for all of them, they worked and they got better. Congrats Donny!
Donny had a definite advantage by having ‘Entertainment Tonight’ promoting him constantly. No one else had anything like that.
yeah, did you see that ET woman sitting next to Marie in the audience! rigged I tell you!!! and it sucks when Mya and Dimitri nailed each & every dance from the start!! Kelly is cute & “sweet” sure, but this is a DANCE contest and they voted off that other blonde bimbo early who could dance a lot better than Kelly – the shows stinks! it is entertaining however and since nothing else on!!! guess i will watch again although I am pissed!!!
Mya should have won!!! She continued making remarkable class act performances. Donny should have not been one of the finalists. But, you know when you get exposure on Entertainment Tonight how can you fail? Also, I found it very unfair on the night of the finals, that Donny sung a solo, and hey Mya is a singer and so is Kelly why weren’t they given the opportunity to sing? This is my last year of watching Dancing With The Stars, they have let me down. Performance should be number one in judging and not popularity. Or the show should be rename to Dancing With The Stars that have the Best Popularity.
Mya got a raw deal. I am never watching again.
yeah, I know what you mean, we should bycott the show!! they said it had the lowest viewers ever that final night….. lets see how they like it to drop even further since you rigged the show and people are on to you and won’t watch anymore!

Racism has never entered into this contest. They have had black white hispanic and oriental in this contest. I think all the judges conducted themselves with professionism when scoring. The rest IS a popularity contest left up to the public on who they think should win. Apparently enough Donny Osmond fans thought he should win. They get better and better every year but in the end, its up to the public. Accept it people.
Donny you know you really were NOT the best dancer, like you said you wanted to win so Marie would not rub it in. Marie be truthful rub it in because the ball was given to him because of his name if it was Donny Smith Mya would have won come on people she danced all around him. I will not watch the show again the REAL winners don’t win, and STOP giving Cheryl sorry partners she the best Pro.
mya was robbed. Im very very disappointed with the show. They continue to rob good dancers just like gil.
I thought this was a competition where judging occurred every week. The world knows that Mya and Demitry were the best overall. Donny had too many mistakes and covered them up by his show business skills and trying to please Bruno with rotating his hips (sexual) indowindoes. For eleven weeks I seen other couples that dance much better than Donnie who should of been eliminated long time ago and yes Utah kept him going. He knows that he should not have won. Your ratings are dropping because for several seasons the best did not win and race is not the issue. To increase your ratings I hope that you will work on a better judging system. Also when you say that we can only vote 5 times that should be the case. Some of us were prevented from voting but I bet all of Utah’s calls were accepted. At the same time I don’t why you kep some of the other dancers like Michael Irwin when he should of been gone. I enjoy the but there definitely should be a better way of judging. By the way what happens when two people are tied as these two last couples were? Maybe you should of had a dance off for them rather than allowing Utah to make the decision. Donny only dance decent the last 2-3 dances the rest sucked
I still can not believe that Donny won. This was so fixed that it gave me a stomach ache. Mya should of won but they kept praising Donny. I knew that was going to happen. Shame on the judges and shame on ABC. I write to ABC but it will fall on deaf ears.
Like it or not racism still is alive and well. It seems that Dancing with the stars have a problem with black females winning since we have witnessed 3 great black female celebs, Ali, Mel, and now Mya. Judges rant about the “booty”, but tries to play it down when it counts. Kudos to Bruno who had insight from the beginning that Mya was a force to be reckoned with. I didn’t miss an episode of the show and I noticed that even when Mya scored the highest, she would not be chosen to do the repeat dance on the 2nd night until near the end of the season. Clearly biased, and I work nights and stayed up to watch it. No more. However, it is no surprise because it is on a Fox network. Also, Mya presented herself as humble and sweet, unassuming at all. Where is all this no personality coming from. You are haters of the Best!
Mya was the best, hands down. It is time for a black female to get her due.
come on!!!! Mya is just a sexy girl that everyone likes! come on, her dancing was really ok, but come on, its not “the best dancer” its “a good dancer and also popular, as your voters have to vote for you”. She was not popular enough.
