Here’s the new Twilight-esque teaser trailer for Beastly, a modern-day retelling of Beauty and the Beast based on the novel by Alex Finn. What’s going on here? I know it’s only two seconds long, but I demand more beastliness and maybe a .05-second glimpse of Neil Patrick Harris. When I thumbed through this book a few weeks ago, I imagined Kyle to be much hairier. Alex Pettyfer is giving off more of a (Disney pretty-boy) Gaston vibe than the Beast here. If so, this lad should consider eating four dozen eggs every morning to help him get large. Perhaps we should rename one of this post’s categories to The Bad Man Doesn’t Scare Me Enough!

judging from that preview alone, that will be a terrible movie. then again, i’m not a twitard.
i dont think this looked any good, and im a twilight-fan. then again i HATE vanessa hudgens…..
I think the fact that Vanessa Hudgens is in it makes the movie horrible. Even I, a diehard NPH fan, will skip this one until the DVD comes out so I can skip over Vanessa.

I don’t condone this idea AT ALL. Not even if you gifted me a full bottle of vodka and cast Vanessa Hudgens as the beast for my viewing pleasure. Please, leave my favorite fairytale tale alone! Go butcher some more Shakespeare, preferably the plays I hate, like “Comedy of Errors”.
