Laura had a reason why she voted for Eric.He was gunning for Monica. Voting for Eric didn’t cost her the game.
Laura was defiantly the best player out there. If the producer hadn’t make it easy for Russell to find the second idol without any clue. Russell would have been gone instead of Kelly. With Russell gone, Laura was deadlock for final 3 spot but having infinite cycle of idols for Russell to magical find is RIDICULOUS.

The producers didn’t make “it easy for Russell,” they made it easy for EVERYBODY. Any one of the Survivor players could have done exactly what Russell did three times! Only they didn’t. That’s what is amazing about Russell. He went there to play and he is. Why was he the only one to search for the immunity idol? There’s nothing ridiculous about it unless you call being goal oriented, focused, and self-motivated ridiculous. For me, what is ridiculous is the monumental laziness most of the players exhibit when they could do exactly what Russell is doing only their choice is to not do it and complain when he does it. I hope Russell takes it. So far, he’s the only one playing like it matters.
Just because Russell is the only one we see searching for the idol doesn’t mean he was the only one searchiing.Just means it was edited that way. They hid the idol under the bridge that Russell and Shambo sit on every day! HOw hard is that? I read in one interview that Laura said she looked under the bridge earlier that day and it wasn’t there. She wondered when it was put there. In the next interview, CBS had told her not to respond to questions about the immunity idol. Erik also searched for the idol w/o having recieved any clues. I think Russell is overplaying and turning people off. I hope Natalie wins!
“Laura, the best player out there”?
um, i dont think so. I guess it is all a matter of perspective, but the only that made Laura stand out as a good player was her winning two immunity challenges.
I think Natalie will be the one to watch. If she goes to final three she will probably be the winner. She is playing a good social game, she seems to do fairly well at challenges but not so great that she is perceived as a threat and so far she has played well enough to end up being in the dominating alliance.
Shambo is not in the final 3. Sometimes the jury does not take game play into consideration as much as they do their own egos and how bitter they are that someone outplayed, outsmarted, and outlasted them. Thats a shame too. I wonder why they cast her and her fellow church member Brett on the same show and same tribe?
How many more weeks left are there until the finale? And we still have 9 players??! Something has to give. I predict a double elimination really soon.
Laura was beginning to remind me more and more of Corrinne from Gabon. That is not a good thing…

Mircat, Yes Russell is resliant in looking for the idol but my point is that no survivor castaway shouldnt be able to find a idol without clue twice. It is too easy.
CD. Laura clearly was the strongest player out there. She had majority alliance and people from her alliance were willing to pick a rock for her. Hadn’t Russell found the second idol, he would have been gone last episode and in this episode probably Mick or Jaison. Foa Foa would disintegrate with Russell gone.
Russell is lucky player for still being in th game.
I hated to see Laura go. I’m a Monica fan! Laura going didn’t help. But I hope Monica will go and align and do VERY Well!
I don’t mind the product placement. I pay no attention to them. I agree with pking. You said it better than I could. I’m glad Laura is gone. She really does think she is great. She will not vote for Russell if he is in the F2. Even though Russell has played a better game than she ever thought to play. Laura is so jealous of Russell and it shows. True, Russell is not playing a very good social game but he is so good I have to applaud him. I will not be sad if Natalie wins.
