Ugh, I hate myself for this being true, but: I will totally go see Letters to Juliet. Romance Travel! Amanda Seyfried! I’ve seen Mamma Mia! more than once, so I guess it’s the natural evolution of my own shame spiral.
I’m really curious what could possibly be in the movie that wasn’t revealed in this trailer, so I’m counting on you, PopWatchers, to come up with potential plot twists. Dazzle me! [via NY Mag]

Hmmm, is the weird British guy supposed to be attractive? Because he ain’t got nothin on Gael Garcia Bernal (that was him right?)
Loving this trailer. I totally agree with you though, what did they not show in this trailer?? I’ll still see it though.
At first I was skeptical that this movie was “The greatest love story ever told” as it implied…but then it added “is your own” and I gagged instead.
Dear John…Letters to Juilet…Did noone tell Amanda Seyfried these were the exact same movies?

This feels like a Made for TV movie to me. Hallmark Channel.
Quite frankly this looks better than Mamma Mia-no Pierce Brosnan singing! And I like the British guy-from Kings, right?
I adore Seyfried!
I will see this movie solely because Gael is in it. Looks decent besides (corny and cliched, of course).
Totally agree with Clayton – I’m only watching it for Gael!
Amanda Seyfried + crying = best crier in the biz. Her crying in this preview cinched it for me: I’m seeing this movie, whether my normal brain wants to or not…
This movie is a must see to me. This not only adds the aspect of young people falling in love but also old people waiting all those years. I cried just on the previews. This movie definitly deserves to go to theaters first.
Isn’t Franco Nero Vanessa Redgrave’s partner in real life? How cool!
Yep they met in 1967, had a son, broke up for decades and then got married in 2006. Just like real star crossed lovers!
I saw this trailer at the movies. I immediately wanted to see the movie. It seems to be the type of movie that is romantic, funny, and definately will make me cry….and THAT is what a good movie should do.
I’m such a sucker for these movies … and then they put that Taylor Swift song in it … I know better, but I just can’t help myself.
