If the fireworks in this clip are any indication, movie star James Franco kicks off his two-month arc on General Hospital with a bang tomorrow. His character, Franco, seems to be the mysterious voyeur who’s been watching the mob activities in Port Charles, including Claudia Zachara’s murder/cover-up. This time it looks like he’s witness to a shoot-out involving the town’s premier hit man and his boss, Jason Morgan and Sonny Corinthos. And he’s making sure he gets noticed.
Franco is likely also an artist in town for an exhibit. The mysterious woman giving Franco a shave in the second clip (played by Lost’s Marsha Thomason) may be the agent-type heard in an earlier episode on an answering machine cryptically cautioning the artist to avoid any problems.

I would be so happy if his character did us all a favorite and kill Olivia, PLEASE! Anyhoo, he’s a death artist, okay. Should be very interesting. I hope McMumbles Sonny talks so people can understand him. But if this storyline is a bust, I will be pissed they pushed back the Cassadine storyline for this. At least I have Lucky/Liz/Nik to keep me entertained. Wouldn’t the artist Liz know about this “death” artist? It would make sense. Now I have to watch Sam wait on Jason and inflate his ego about how great a man he is.
I can’t stand Olivia either the bitch is so two face. She is in love with Sonny and then she is love with Johnny. She wants Sonny to go to jail then she doesn’t want Sonny to go jail. She wants to tell him about their son and then she doesn’t want to tell them about her son. Can she make up her mind. Her indecisiveness reminds of Brenda, but at least Brenda was inadvertently a backstabber.
i hate this storyline! i wish the death artist would kill nicolas and let elizabath and lucky be happy! i haven’t like the actress who plays elizabeth since amber tamblyn left..and she is even worse as rebecca!! i want more dominique & lulu

lol @ McMumbles Sonny. I think he’s the only actor today that still reads from a teleprompter. Didn’t he win a daytime Emmy? If he did, they’ll give it to anyone these days.

I really don’t care about McMumbles & Blinky. TPTB have already managed to kill everything I loved about this show. The only reason I’m even going to check out GH tomorrow is because of James Franco.

I don’t think maurice uses a teleprompter. I think he is a great actor. I just wish they’d give him better story lines.
I agree, Maurice is a great actor who has just been given really bad material for the past few years. If you don’t think he’s a good actor then track down some of his old scenes from the 90s on youtube. Almost any scene that he was in with either Brenda or Stone will convince you that he’s got some serious acting prowess. It’s not his fault that the writers have turned Sonny into a shell of his former self.
You don’t have to tell me anything about Sonny/Brenda. I was a huge fan of that couple. But I guess he’s been watching too many Al Pacino movies (and not the good ones) and he’s been copying him. Every time I watch him yell I start to picture Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman. I keep expecting Sonny to saw “Woo HA”
Ah! I totally called it! That is Adam Labert’s “Mad World.” Sooo good. Or so Idoled out. Who knows. Can’t wait for this either way.
Maurice is a great actor. He does the best job he can with the crap he’s given and is really the best thing about the show imo. If there was no Sonny, I wouldn’t be watching. The haters can go eff themselves

They get a great opportunity by having someone like Franco actually ask to be on the show, and they have to drag him into the mob crap. The same mob crap that has been plaguing this show for over a decade.
I swear, you could not watch this show for over a year and come back feeling like you haven’t missed a thing. It’s the same thing over and over again, which is a shame because they have some really great actors.

It was inevitable that Franco would be sucked into this mob crap, because it’s all that Robert Guza, the headwriter, cares about. Nothing else is worth his time and “talent.”
It’s why this stunt casting will ultimately fail. They could reincarnate Charlton Heston and put him in this, and it would still end up being the same boring crap it always is.
