i love the show with the return of heather, and hope the show will continue on, i am also hoping the cw gives it time to grow
Honestly the low ratings are well deserved. As excited as I was to see Amanda return, it is by no means a panacea for the show’s poor writing and lack of interesting characters.
In fact, her return is just going to underscore the fact that the new MP and its new younger CW cast is just a pale imititation of the original and make us pine for the good ‘ol days in the 90s of the original.
They should realize by now the producers need to go, most of the new cast needs to be jettisoned and the focus shifted back to Amanda, Michael and a few more of the old cast.
Otherwise Amanda’s presence will be as helpful to the ratings as her presence was in the last two seasons of the original–in other words–not much.
The only time I was the least bit engaged in tonite’s episode was when Amanda was onscreen the rest of the time I was bored senseless.
