Wow, some people have some really great ideas. I don’t think I could narrow it down to just 3. I think Claire Danes would be a good choice.
If the show is a guaranteed hit, I would want Lindsay Price in it. I think she could kick some @ss. But I don’t think I could handle another failure for her. She doesn’t deserve another cancellation.
Sarah Michelle Gellar seems like a good idea, but only if her HBO series isn’t picked up. But I doubt she would do it. I don’t think another butt-kicking role is the direction she wants to take right now.
I like the idea of Vanessa Marcil. And Moon Bloodgood and Natalie Zea are good ideas too.
How about Jaime Ray Newman, Rebecca Romijn, and Lindsay Price, fresh off their cancellation of Eastwick. They’re PERFECT together!
Natalie Dormer, Kristen Bell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Moon Bloodgood, Shiri Appleby, Parminder Nagra… there are alot of decent actresses in that age range that could be good.
Gabrielle Union, Lindsay Price and Kristen Bell.
Allison Hannigan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, & Eliza Dushku…also, their hair color could coordinate with the characters…red, blonde, and brunette!

The only person I can think of right now that I’d love to see: Summer Glau. I could be totally happy with Eliza Dushku too though, now that Dollhouse is done. Any maybe that blonde chick who came in during the final season of Alias…

I like Lindsay Price. But none of the people anyone has mentioned is the next Farrah or Jaclyn Smith. Great, just great, another unnecessary and sure-to-be-canceled remake. Can’t anyone come up with novel ideas and completely new franchises anymore?

Since she and Drew Barrymore are friends, what about Ellen Page? I’m only half kidding when I say that. It’s hard to say who would be good for these roles. I’ve only seen the films so I am not familar with the roles as they were on TV. Maybe some unknowns would work.
Ellen Page might work in the role of the level-headed one. But, I do have a hard time seeing her in the show at all. Maybe she is Bosley. That works better to update it. As a matter of fact maybe Charlie is a woman and the angels are now men! Half kidding and half excited about the idea: Zachary Quinto, Ryan Reynolds and John Cho can be the angels. LOL
To all the people who said Zoe Bell: YES.
Summer Glau should be on the top of the list as she meets all of the criteria required for an actress to fit this role (beauty, acting, grace, action, hard worker, great personality). She is a very talented and versatile actress as she had already proven in Serenity, Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Unit, 4400, and many more. Besides, if the rumor is true that Josh Friedman is leading this effort, then he already has a great working relationship with Summer. Best wishes to Summer in landing this role.
Pull a “Dollhouse” (branches of company in major cities all over the states!!) It’s all about the Franchise; Baby!
Start the 1st Charlie’s with three Angels and a Bosley who is in a trial run who leave after a show or three (make them gals/guys, who are older/younger; whatever however different from the angels)
Lena Headey, Ben Browder, Rebecca Gayhart, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Cher could be some of the Bosley’s!!
Have a support team (that goes from team to team so you don’t see them all the time…)that Angel’s go to when they need a leader in a field.
1st Dollhouse of Angels could be Vivica A. Fox, America Ferrera, and Tricia Helfer.
The Angels of the movie could co-star every now and then.
Moon Bloodgood is bloody good.
As long as Moon Bloodgood does not wind up romantically involved with a time traveller, as has been the case three times now, this might work out.
