I always thought Miss Jay was the leggiest man of them all, but it turns out he might have some competition–from his son! The America’s Next Top Model judge told fellow diva Tyra Banks on her talk show that he is father to a seven-year-old son named Boris, who was conceived “in a little test tube” with a French lesbian. Can you say sitcom?
If we want to get all technical, Miss Jay’s ex, not the catwalk king (queen?), is the biological father, but that hasn’t stopped Miss Jay from loving his son like his own. In fact, he’s quite the proud papa: “[Boris] is an incredibly smart child. He was toilet-trained at a year and three months. He refuses to drink out of plastic and will use only glass.”
Yeah that’s great, but can he rock a massive flower accessory like his dad?

Maybe a little shocked, but it really seems like he genuinely knows a lot about the boy and cares for him. As long as he’s getting lots of love, that his emotional needs are being met, and that he feels safe and comfortable, I don’t think it really matters who his parents are or what their sexual orientation is.
So not shocked. Gay people having kids is nothing new. They’re even doing it on sitcoms now (Modern Family). That’s the official signal that it is now Officially Unremarkable. I hope Miss Jay’s a good dad. Mom? Dad/Mom?
I’m glad that you think gay adoption is unremarkable. There are states in the US that flat out ban gay couples from adopting. There are others where gay couples can’t even foster children.
I sense a certain tone of homophobia in this article. How does the story of him having a child comedic in any way?
I’d only be shocked if he had a child from a heterosexual relationship and WASN’T, in fact, gay. Otherwise, not shocking.
