January Jones, beer-pong: These are a few of my favorite things

Like I needed another reason to adore January Jones. On last night’s Jimmy Fallon, the host challenged the Mad Men beauty to a friendly game of beer-pong. Even though she lost (a staggering upset, considering Fallon’s 1-5 overall record against the likes of Ivanka Trump and Betty White), she won points for belittling Fallon’s watered-down version of the sport. January Jones knows her some beer-pong.

Jones is a Midwesterner, probably more like the Milwaukee gal who was enamored with British accents in Love, Actually than the icy Betty Draper. If her upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live wasn’t already a must-see, her pong-IQ clinched it.

Which arm of yours would you happily gnaw off to play January Jones in beer-pong?

Beer pong seriously, do people today ever want to grow up and act like adults?

    • TheObserver

      Not really

      • so far

all of her latest interviews have been about how much she likes beer and football. wow. she’s so COOL. she’s just like a regular cameron diaz. i bet she burps and farts too.

Come ON! Who doesn’t love to play beer pong? I’m in my late 20s and my parents even enjoy it at parties. Its just fun.

Beer pong is fun. Get over yourself.

Because nothing screams “adult” like surfing an entertainment web site during work hours. Just leave us to our childish pursuits and go balance a checkbook or something.

she was in Love, Actually? which part?

    • Leslie

She was one of the American girls that Colin met in a bar when he went to Milwaukee, towards the end of the movie.

she was a sport throughout the show…even fawned over Troy Polamalu and sat on the thing Jimmy was hitting as Troy taught him how to hit. Jimmy is the funniest thing on Late Night right now. The Roots is the best band in Late night and play the best walk out music [for Troy was 'Soul Glow' from Coming to America]. Jimmy gets great guests and really is something different that the others. Give him a chance, he will make you laugh with his awkwardness. I love Jimmy!

She had a very small role as one of the three Midwestern gals that the British guy meets when he moves to America.

She’s right about beer pong. The right way to play is like actual ping-pong, doubles, with a cup in each corner of the table and a raised net. THAT is real beer pong.

  • I’d watch her…

…wrestle Fallon in a pool of yogurt if I had to.

I was always under the impression that beer pong is the game with paddles, while Beirut is the game without.

    • DL

That is my understanding as well.

Beer pong (as in the real one) is also endlessly better than Beirut.

  • Teri

FYI, she is from South Dakota.

It was the eye black and the 43 jersey that sold me on Jones. What a cool chick. Liked her road trip story too.
