Watching the trailer for Coach, it’s easy to think it’s just another film about a guy who finds his worth (and a woman) coaching a kids’ team (in this case, soccer). But it’s not. It has Hugh Dancy! Also, Community‘s Gillian Jacobs, as the soon-to-be ex girlfriend who insists he do something with his life, and Last Chance Harvey‘s Liane Balaban, as the doctor who actually makes him want to be a better man.
Are you a sucker for these films, too? Or does the man-child-coming-of-age romantic sports dramedy genre need to be retired?
Hugh Dancy is so cute. How he ended up with someone as ugly as Claire Danes beats me.
i agree. plus danes has such an ugly personal/romantic history. he couldv’e done much better than her.

Gillan Jacobs is the weak link on “Community”, so I doubt she’ll be any good in this film.
Yes! I love Hugh Dancy but I’m really disliking Jacobs on Community-I’m afraid she’ll ruin this movie for me.

Clare Danes is gorgeous…her skin and eyes and mannerisms. She is so NOT cookie cutter! She relies on her talent, beauty and brains…not bimbo antics.
