Nikster, have you listened to the Gary Jules version compared to Lambert’s? There’s no comparison. Lambert’s vocal tone is terrific. I couldn’t believe how ordinary (even mediocre) the Jules recording was compared to Lambert’s. No comparison. Lambert takes the piece out of the park. It’s a homerun.
well, I don’t think he was comparing the two, I think he was just giving an example to prove his point. I’m not defending his words, but I just think you need to look at it differently.
I really don’t like the Jules version that much. As electronic as the original Tears for Fears version is, it’s still amazing. Adam Lambert’s cover was rocking, but I still prefer the original to all imitations, even though they’re clearly good and different in their own veins.
I like them both. But, I’m addicted only to Adam.

like it or not, Elvis was never actually happy and was not the positive thinker Adam is. And Freddie should never be ‘played’ by anyone, my opinion, there is only one Freddie and Adam is just as great, but, don’t play ‘Freddie’ Besides, bad ending.

Why is it that people get offended from the slighted allusion to Adam being gay? If Adam himself had as big a problem with his sexality as some of his so-called fans, he would not be so flamboyant, and he would’ve stayed loked in the closet. Stop being so PC about it. disagree, Adam the entertainer is all that they should comment on-not his sexuality. He answered the quesion and said that now he can move on with career-but it keeps coming up by those with agenda to aggitate. (and lotsa jealousy of Adam)
I think he should do muscial movies and romance movies and Badboy movies. He would be great at all of those type of movies I can see him now.
