Nathan Fillion is a nobody that even with a so-so show with decent ratings still hasn’t been able to generate any real buzz beyond his cult WhedonPsychos fandom…
Low-five TellyB.
i’d like to see Rachael McAdams with Sherlock Holmes coming up…..btw, i totally thought that pic of Katy Segal was Jennifer Esposito before reading the article!
Jane Lynch
John Krasinski
Jason Schwartzman
Jason Segel
Zach Galifianakis
Kristen Bell
Yes,yes, yes, to everyone on that list!
Jane Lynch and Joel McHale are no brainers…But i want to see Ed O’Neil host with a apperance by Katy Sagel and Christina Applegate!
Yes, I agree wiht Ed o’ Neil.
Craig Ferguson – The Late Late Show
Jim Parsons – The Big Bang Theory
Zooey Deschanel – 500 Days of Summer
Simon Baker – The Mentalist
The guy who plays Wolowitz – Big Bang Theory
Kenneth – 30 Rock
Bryan Cranston – Breaking Bad/Malcom in the Middle
David Duchovny – X-files/Californication
Jeff Goldblum – L&O: CI
Good list except for Simon Baker – not sure he would fit
Nice list – Jim Parsons and Bryan Cranston would be my faves
Also John Cho..With Flash Forward being a decent hit and his comedy backround from Harlod and Kumar i think he would be a amazing host
I would really like to see Celine Dion host SNL once. This woman has an amazing sense of humor that most people don’t know about!! And of course, a great voice too.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan!!!
nbc needs as much promotion it can get. my list then:
ed helms, amy poehler, tina fey, anthony anderson, sam waterson, chris meloni, mariska hargitay, and my personal favorite STEPHEN COLBERT!
Totally agree! And, Chris Meloni is very funny it would be great for him to show it off! My personal fav is also Colbert–would love to see him up there besides voicing half of “The Ambiguously Gay Duo!”
Yes to Chris Meloni. He is hilarious.
YES to mariska hargitay …but then again , maybe not
Definitely agree with Jane Lynch, Ed Helms and Joel McHale
In general, SNL needs to shake things up a bit like they used to. Don’t necessarily stick to the Under 35 crowd just because your cast is young.. some older folks like Larry David, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, etc would be fantastic.
That goes for musical guests too…
Also:
John Krasinski
Jenna Fischer
Ed Helms
Jason Schwartzman
Michael C. Hall (Dexter)
UGH, the Office, really? That show was never funny – we get it, they are socially awkward, look into the camera, and pause – they make Small Wonder look like Seinfeld
Yes to Larry David! Perfect.
Sam Worthington would be cool, because of Avatar and Clash of the Titans.
And the hotness. Purr kitty.
How about getting hosts from NBC Universal’s networks?
James Roday
Dule Hill (both from Psych),
Jeffrey Donovan
Bruce Campbell (both from Burn Notice),
I highly agree on Mark Harmon (#1 show on TV)
Katt Williams
Bryan Cranston
And Larry David would be nice.
Neil Patrick Harris. Or John Hamm…I think Mo’nique would be hilarious they should definietly get her on and the cast of Twilight could definitely be interesting, especially in terms of what they come up with. I think the problem with SNl is the writing and not the performers.
