Break out your hankies, Runway fans, ’cause in this latest installment of PRT, things get a little emotional. As this season’s fifth-place finisher explained to us the morning after his final episode, he’s a sensitive guy whose tear ducts go into overdrive when the cameras roll. So we made sure we had a box of tissues on hand for his visit to the EW offices, where he gamely chatted with us about being the last man standing, his lack of training versus hands-on experience, and a possible betrayal from his longtime model Katie. We hope you’re moved. (Check back later for our chat with Gordana, who dishes on Irina, Heidi and more!)

Christopher is such a woman. Man up dude.
Or, he’s a very emotional man – why does that automatically make him ‘woman’ as if it’s a negative inferior thing? Not all women are ‘emotional’ — believe me, I know a LOT of women who don’t act like that.
Because he cries about everything. Obviously women are generally more emotional without having to spout exceptions to the rule.
Women aren’t more emotional. Women are just told it’s more acceptable for them to cry in reaction to things, while men are shamed and ridiculed for it (“Man up dude”) – of COURSE fewer men are going to “be emotional” if people laugh at them whenever they are!
Besides, the whole “women are more emotional” thing is BS – men are allowed to get angry without being laughed at, and wtf is anger is not an emotion?
wtf is anger IF not an emotion /typo
He should have gone home weeks ago.
His crying is soooo annoying. He should grow up and get to work.
You know, I thought he was fairly delusional about the early Christopher/late Christopher distinction, but I actually thought the guy was a good sport about the whole thing, and really open about the experience, so good for him, even if I thought he was well overdue on the show.
I agree 100%. I squirmed a little when he said it was the judges, it wasn’t him with regard to the winning Christopher vs. bottom 3 Christopher…but he was so cute about the tissues and very nice and not bitter about the show. I just love when people are good sports like that. I wasn’t impressed with him in the last few weeks of the show, but I hope he does well in the future!
I also thought that Christopher was a great sport. He comes off as really nice and even if his designs weren’t always successful, he at least had a really unique point of view. That’s more than I can say for the designers who are going to Bryant Park. And frankly if his skirt hadn’t been so heavy I would have liked his final look.
This is the weakest season of Runway ever. The fact that Gordana is still in the competition speaks volumes to the level of talent. And Christopher? She was SO annoying! Always the constant crying.
Yes, Irina was right. He’s so into his head, he doesn’t have a clue. There is confidence, and there is delusion.
Its not that the judges “didnt get him” in the challenges he was in the bottom…he just made ugly stuff that didnt suit the challenges or look good…like how does he not understand that…so delusional
I actually liked Christopher the entire season, he was the only one doing anything edgy or artistic, the only one taking risks. Irina’s stuff looks to me like something that could almost be in a Sears catalog.
I couldn’t agree more. He had fabulous ideas, he just couldn’t execute them.
He wore out his welcome-should have been gone day one. Except for the little bit of sheer draping at the top, that last number looked like a waitress outfit for an Amish Pancake House. Awful!
He said he was constantly in the top or the bottom on the show, I bet in real life he is constantly in the bottom position…lol…
I’ve thought from the early weeks that the contest was Irina’s to lose – because most of her designs were just beautiful with an innovative edge. Last night I was shocked by the all black and grey and the t-shirts!! Yikes!! What was she thinking?
