A new trailer — well, “trailer” — for the John Travolta/Robin Williams comedy Old Dogs is out, and it’s about testicles. Ha, ha, ha.
Ah yes, gonad humor. The opposite of nuance! I know this movie will probably make millions of dollars, PopWatchers, but I’m struggling to imagine a scenario under which I watch this voluntarily. How about you?

THAT WAS AWFUL!!
I can’t fathom the idea of some screenwriter actually sitting down and WRITING a scene like this. Who are these people? What went wrong in their life thus far to make them like this?
I keep seeing the trailer on TV and Seth Green somehow ends up in the arms of a gorilla singing Air Supply. Not sure how that figures in.
EVERY time I see this trailer before a movie…and it seems like it is before every movie…the audience laughs riotously through the whole thing! My husband and I always look at each other like we can’t believe people find this crap funny. Of course it will make boatloads of money, sadly. I’m not a movie snob either, I will see almost anything!
My 11 and 8 year old boys can not wait for this movie to come out. My 11 year old is praying for a PG-13 rating so one of us will take him to the theater. It is their idea of comedy genius.
Doobies almost saved Paul Blart from being unwatcheable, but I won’t even try with this one.

One of those movies you actually feel sorry for the performers. I hope the paycheck was high enough. Didn’t Seth Green do that same scene in Without a Paddle?

I can not believe how stuffy people have become. Come on people it is comedy. It is not to be taken seriously. If you can’t laugh at this then you are going through life with something stuck up your you know what. Laughter keeps you young. This is slap schtick comedy. I can not believe you have never accidentally hit someone or bonked heads and not slapped your hand over your mouth to contain your laughter. That is what schlapstick is all about. You have to get off your prude mountain and just let go. Seth Green and Robin Williams are both naturals at this. I love to watch them and I will watch this movie with the hopes that I can cut loose and just laugh — for an hour and a half just forget about all the seriousness in the world and LAUGH!!!
