New 'Glee' videos take you inside the casting process. Beware: Someone gets slapped!

Sad that you have to wait until next Wednesday night for a fresh episode of Glee? The fine folks at Fox hope to ease your pain by offering up a couple of behind-the-scenes videos about the hit musical dramedy. Did you know that the producers saw 2,900 hopefuls during the casting process? Or that Lea Michele slapped the casting director during her audition for the role of Rachel? Or that Corey Monteith scored points during his Finn audition with his drumming skills? You’ll also hear from Mark Salling about Puck’s impressive “personal tribute to a musical Jewish icon” in the form of “Sweet Caroline.” Start learning stuff:

That looked like Aaron Tveit who auditioned in the first video! Now that guy can sing

  • Jane

    Is there a link?

  • Michael

    That WAS Aaron Tveit!

  • Natalia

    I love Puck/Rachel

Puck and Rachel need to happen again and this time last longer than one episode. Lea and Mark have great chemistry,so I hope the writers give them a second chance after all the baby drama, that’s boring and should end soon, is over.

WE COULD HAVE HAD AARON TVEIT ON GLEE?? I mean, I love Cory, but… AARON! I guess he was too Abercrombie model and not enough midwestern teen. No argument here…

I absolutely love Puck and Rachel. Lea and Mark’s chemistry together was so electric and fresh. They have the best chemistry I’ve ever seen on this show. I hope the writers get Puck and Rachel back together again.

As awesome as it would have been to have Aaron Tveit on Glee, I think he’s done okay for himself. Haha! Still, maybe a guest starring role is in order.
