I loved this Castle, Nathan was at his best. From his going balistic towards the band member to his guitar hero/risky business at the shows start. My fav part Esposito spelling out the Bad word in front of Alexis. Castle concern over the drug addicted sister was very touching as was the candle light vigil at the end. Nathan & Stana are a must watch, they do comedy & drama the best.
No you weren’t too hard on Castle. What bothered me was discussing privileged information (like the identity of a suspect) in front of the daughter – who could just as easily have gone to school and texted all over “Hey – the suspect is XYZ . . . .” That was too unbelievable. Even more unbelievable than a grandmother and father going to rock concerts with a granddaughter.
I would strongly suggest adding TNT and USA to the world of networks. Leverage and White Collar have finally tipped the balance (anchored so long by The Closer and Monk and others) to their having IMO more good shows than “the networks.”
Absolutely! Add Saving Grace to your list…
Also Burn Notice, In Plain Sight, etc
I thought Numbers was great last Friday. I thought Dept. 44 was an inside reference to President Obama–the 44th President. I also like the entire story line of Don questioning his life. This show has only gotten better and better.
No love for the CSI: Miami homage to the Hangover Monday night? I thought it was pretty clever, and I was trying to remember the scenes from the movie that were in the show.
Yes, Castle was not quite its full Castle-y self, and it felt like this was a filler episode. I knew the moment they interviewed the producers that it was going to be the husband, and the tribute concert at the end felt too perfect for a wrap-up (plus sister gets clean seemed too after-school special). Watched NCIS-LA for the first time this week, and quite frankly, it helped put things into perspective – Castle at half-speed is still better than most shows (not that NCIS was bad, but could tell Gunny was going to be the killer as well), its just we expect so much more…..
Alexis didn’t skip class. She skipped a study hall, a free block, a nothing. Just saying.
