Tonight, Kate Gosselin will reveal all when she does a nothing’s-off-limits episode! Wait, wasn’t that last week? Uh, sort of: Last week, Kate answered viewers’ questions, but we didn’t dig deep enough, apparently, and now the Today show’s Natalie Morales takes a turn.
I’ve seen enough Kate Gosselin interviews in the last few months to last a lifetime know that Kate’s a robotic interviewee; she sticks to her talking points like she’s a political operative. So I’ve made you this handy Bingo card, which you can print (or remix here) to make tonight’s interview more enjoyable. Remember, if something actually revealing or new-sounding happens, everybody drink.
Enjoy, PopWatchers? What’d I leave off the list?

Does P-people count for paparazzi? Seriously, how funny is it that TLC is promoting this as an “exclusive” interview. Doesn’t exclusive suggest that she hasn’t already been interviewed by every news outlet in the country already? I would bet money that my shot glass would remain untouched during this interview, that is if I could bear to watch her pity party again.
Finally! Someone who sees though this fake mom!
You forgot something about how Jon is not the same person, blah blah blah.
I agree that she acts like a politican in a press conference. She is smart enough to realize that sticking to a script is her best bet. Jon seems to wing it and it hasn’t helped him too mcuh.
How about just reporting instead of this sacastic piece of crap parading as jounalism? I don’t a want to know what you think about the story. I just want to know the FACTS of the story.
I meant journalism. Good journalism presents the facts and allows the reader to draw the conclusion.
Most good journalism doesn’t involve Kate Gosselin.
Okay – so you come to EW.com for serious news? Doesn’t EW stand for Entertainment Weekly? And isn’t the title of this piece kind of a give away? “Kate Gosselin Interview Bingo. Get ready for another cliche fest” Maybe you are talking about Natalie Morales’ journalistic integrity. We’ll find out about that tonight.
Me, I’m printing out the Bingo Card and having some fun. And yes – it is fun at Kate’s expense because the “facts” have shown over and over again that she is a hypocrite who exploits innocent children.
EW isn’t a straight news outlet. Read the Hollywood reporter or an AP article for that. Incidentally, the header was “Kate Gosselin Interview BINGO”…what did you expect?
PopWatch is a blog. This isn’t supposed to be a piece of journalism.
So you are saying a blog is an editorial not a report? Since there is no actual unbiased story on this website, this is the only place to receive info on this story. Like it or not, the Gosselins are celebrities and celebrity does not require talent. Since Jon is going all over the media spouting his “apology” (NOT), I am interested in learning more about Kate (but not from a biased trash-monger who refuses to just report facts).
Exactly. This is a blog, not a newspaper. A blog is, by definition, someone’s opinion about a topic. Obviously, an opinion piece is always subjective.
If you’re looking for fact, the facts are that these are two wack-a-doodle parents desperately trying to hang on to their 15 minutes of fame. Jsut exploiting the ill-advised litter they churned out is no longer doing it for them. And of course, they can’t afford to take care of the litter on their own so they have to continue to “make news”.
To which I say, bored with them now…
Speaking of bias, I think Lynn is clearly showing her pro-Kate bias in her replies…
Lynn, you’re interested in learning more about KG? The past 15-20 interviews, articles, weren’t enough for you? Serious, TLC has screened these questions, they’ll all be her usual answers.
This is PopWatch Blog, which means it contains opinion pieces (like all blogs). If you don’t want to read anything negative about Kate (the title should have been a clue), then don’t read it, just like I’m not going to watch Kate cry on TV tonight.
P.S. I know she cries because I happened to see a commercial on NBC this morning advertising the interview.
What “facts” are there to report except that it’s an interview hosted by Natalie Morales in place of a “regular” episode of John & Kate Plus 8. You could get that information from a TV Guide.
Sorry, don’t get TV guide. I’m just a fan of the show, who is stuck in bed with a broken leg, surfing the net for accurate information on a situation that interests me. I also surf the major news organizations and arrive at my own conclusions about news events. They all show their political bias these days so it is not always easy to pick through what is fact and what is opinion.
And. BTW, there is a clip from the tonights show. I just don’t need to be told by a so-called reporter what I conclusion I should draw from the clip.
If you don’t want sarcastic commentary on the nonsensical aspects of the entertainment industry, I’d suggest ew is not the place for you. Are you really demanding “serious journalism” in regards to Kate Gosselin? Really? I’ve heard it all.
FACT: Jon & Kate’s 15 min of fame is loooong over. Stop the madness!
Kate’s tears are from anger and hurt. Those that say they are fake are not being honest with just how they would respond to Jon’s behavior in recent months. I don’t know about others, but I certainly cry more when I’m angry and frustrated. I would be sooo angry the tears would be pouring!
Nobody here is denying that Kate is hurt, wronged, etc. What’s being satirized here is that she’s milking the S**T out of her pain.
If you think those tears are real. You are gullible.
Horrible journalism. Shame on Meridith Viera and Natalie Morales. I pray this is the last interview I see of Kate.
Lynn, good luck in your quest to “learn more about Kate” — it will be a very rewarding use of your time.
I bet she does the interview in “Katespeak codenglish”
Don’t forget the ring — the one that’s supposed to symbolize that she’ll be with the kids forever. Two problems with that: Didn’t she make a similar promise in HI a few months ago???? We all saw how long that lasted. And, what mother needs a RING to show her kids she’ll always be there for them????
A greedy mother? I know I never questioned my mother’s commitment to me, even with joint custody! I think it is sad that these kids have been taught that what is important in life is the stuff: the freebies, the trips, etc.
Who has sold out on the Gosselins?
If you need to buy an expensive ring in order to prove, to the children you gave birth to, that you will be together with them forever then you should have been sterilized in the beginning. 5 year olds could give a flying sh!t less about what kind of jewelry Mommy Dearest is wearing.
Don’t forget “survival” or “I’m just a working a mom.” She pulls that crap all time.
You also forgot: “We can only move forward”; “I choose to take the high road”; talking about how she wants to keep things “private”; and of course, the crying without tears (dabbing the eyes with kleenex).
LOL — “I want to keep things private, and so I’ll go on every talk show to trash my soon-to-be-ex.” I think Kate missed the exit to the high road a few miles back (must have been the night she got that speeding ticket).
Lynn said: Kate’s tears are from anger and hurt. Those that say they are fake are not being honest..
Hmmm … hello Kate and goodbye Kate
