It will be yet another Glee-less Wednesday this week due to the World Series (Damn Yankees…and Phillies). So it seemed like an opportune time to look back on this amazing first half of the season. Personally, my favorite performance moment has been Mercedes rafter-rattling version of “Hate on Me.” It probably holds more sentimental value because I was on set that day and got to see it all go down live. Also, I’m completely jealous of the dancing skills of the cast. Why can’t I pop and lock?!

I totally agree. They are yet to top that. Leah Michele does an amazing job with this song. Her performance would instantaneously lift anyone out of depression. LOVE IT !!!

Sweet Caroline is great! Same with Keep Holding On and Halo/Walking on Sunshine…my ipod hasn’t moved off those three songs since they were added! LOVE THIS SHOW!!

Don’t get me wrong, I really like Lea but having her sing on Maybe this time with Kristen ruined it for me.

I love them all, but probably “Keep Holding On” – it’s a beautiful musical performance, as well as resonating dramatically within the plot and characters. Beautiful, and beautifully meaningful.

Yep! Keep Holding On was the one I’ve rewatched the most. Not just the music, but everyone’s emotions just shone through. Good stuff!
SWEET CAROLINE!!!!! that is my favorite song that glee has done.
Mine too!!! My heart just swooned when Puck came in playing his guitar and dedicating it a Jewish songstress – made me want to convert! LOL!!! Also I love boys that play DB’s on telly only for them to be severely misunderstood (ie Chuck Bass)!

All the performances are fun, but I loved the “vitamin” induced Halo/Walkin On Sunshine and It’s My Life/Confessions Part II.
Agreed! The mash-ups were great. I also really enjoyed Puck’s Sweet Caroline and the gang’s hilarious performance of Push It.
The football team doing “Single Ladies.” I know it’s not quite like the other performances on this show (it wasn’t a rehearsal and it wasn’t a performance for an audience), but it was terrific in a wonderful “I can’t believe this is actually happening” way.
Also, “Take a Bow”
Absolutely! Sure, it was just dancing, but it was so ridiculous and funny that it’s one of the most memorable moments from the show.
Making it even more gleeless (for me anyway) is the Yankees will probably win the Series tonight.

Somebody To Love and Keep Holding On are the best with No Air coming close. When I listen to Somebody To Love and Keep Holding On I literally get goosebumps.

Keep Holding On was not only beautifully sung but the sheer power and emotion that all FOUR of the lead kids had during it showing their love and concern for each other was one of the most powerful things I’ve seen on TV. No Air and Don’t Stop Believing were also fantastic.
I really loved Somebody To Love but i gotta say that Sweet Caroline was probably my favorite so far!

Rehab is the reason i watch the show and I’ve never liked Sweet Caroline until i saw their version.
Alone was my favorite thus far. One of Broadway’s best voices + an incredible Heart song = pure magic. I also enjoyed Quinn sing Say A Little Prayer, mainly because the two back up girls did the entire song without smiles. That’s such a bubbly song and something about the lack of smiles was hilarious to me.
