This is a great video interview too. She seems really down to earth and excited about her work. AND V sounds fantastic!

Gee, I wish I hadn’t read this. Now I know that the woman who plays Juliet is an airheaded weirdo-freak.

I originally could not stand Juliet, during season 5 I took a turn and then another turn and another …. something changed. I TOTALLY BOUGHT the relationship between Sawyer & Juliet during season 5/3yrs..and when Sawyer brought that flower to Juliet … that scene was PERFECT … and when the scene of Sawyer TRYING with ALL his might to save her …POW … i was hearbroken for Sawyer, as Juliet had his back like NO BODY ELSE ever did.

I am truly excited for this show – we need better sci-fi on tv these days. Elizabeth Mitchell is an extraordinary actress – watch her episode of House. Amazing.

It shows what great actors they were. I wouldn’t have put Juliet and Sawyer together, either, but once they were, I was full on-board with the pairing and thought it was one of the most grown-up relationships on the show.

Has anyone seen the original V? It was awesome!!! I hope this lives up to the original. I am still a fan of the original.

I remember the first time I saw Juliet on Lost. It was such a plane, ordinary scene with her walking around the house, listening to music, baking cookies and getting ready for the book group. She steps in front of a mirror to fix her hair and suddenly, for just a millisecond, she gets this look. It was this powerful, soul-wrenching look of dispair, pain, self-loathing and emptiness. It appeared as if any minute she was totaly going to lose her Sh@%…..and then BAM! It was gone. Right then I thought to myself “Wow! There is something serious going on with this woman and I want to know more.” That’s all it took, just a two second look, and I was hooked. Kudos to the writers for creating such a wonderfully complex character and Bravo to EM for acting the h*ll out of the role.

You are right she was so amazing as Juliet. I can’t wait to see her in V. I’m also glad the fan reaction was so loud that Darlton brought Juliet back. Elizabeth MItchell has been Emmy robbed several times over.

I was a Sawyer/Kate shipper, but then Juliet came along. I loved that she seemed so mature and complex as a character. She became one of my favorites and I was fully on board with the Juliet/Sawyer pairing.
I loved watching Elizabeth Mitchell on Lost and am sad that Juliet will no longer have a large role, but I am excited for the new show. Hopefully it catches my attention as Lost did.
Thanks so much for the interview.

Great story. Julie Mitchell is an amazing actress. She was my favorite on Lost, but I’m glad she’s got the lead on V. And yes…she and Sawyer rocked it.

I WANT TO SEE THAT DELETED SINK SCENE!!!

Great article on Ms. Mitchell!!! One of the best ones about her I’ve read over the years. I really liked her take on the Juliet/Sawyer pairing. And I wish I was at Comic-Con so that I could’ve seen her in person!
