Stop violence against women…and keep violence aganst everyone else, lol. I think the truth of it is that unfortunately most of these crimes do happen to women more than men. People also tend to care more about female victims than male victims. If anything I think this article should just be “stop the violence in general” instead of turning it into a sexist matter.
Family Guy shouldn’t count because it is an over the top comedy that makes fun of everyone except liberals.
Lastly, there is not a “group” of people I dislike more than the PTC. Instead of having Parents keep an eye on TV their children might be watching, the PTC advocates banning violent or sexual themed television. HEY AMERICA, IF YOU DON’T LIKE A TV SHOW, CHANGE THE CHANNEL. It’s your right.
I like to watch the csi shows. I always viewed it more as justice for victims, but I can see how it desensitizes. I also used to watch Seth MacFarlane’s shows, growing up like this it just seemed normal and really funny too. But after escaping my adult abusive relationship watching his shows make me sick. Its not about extreme comedy the shows revolve around abuse and make it seem normal and even acceptable. I’m not saying that they caused the problem but I never even knew psychological/emotional abuse existed, it helps perpetuate its acceptability in society.
