You know I am starting to think this movie was full of subliminal messages which was what was scaring peopel and all of us who didn’t like it and weren’t the least bit scared are not susceptible to subliminal messaging! As much as you guys don’t get why we didn’t think it was scary we don’t get why you think it was!

I was so disappointed with this film. I am a huge fan of Blair Witch, so I was excited about seeing this one. In my opinion, the scary bits were quite effective but were diminished by the slow pace and bad acting. The characters were so annoying that it became nothing more than a mildly scary story of a whiney girl and here idiot boyfriend. By the end of the film, I was praying for the damned demon to kill them both. The most disturbing thing about it is that it has made so much money. I truly felt after all of the hype that I had been bamboozled. (Ha! love that word.)

I didn’t find the movie really scary, but I found it very creative unlike the other ordinary horror, mystery, thriller-like movies. It’s unique of this type with a nature of Documentary look (where we mostly believe in documentaries) which draws your attention, mesmerizes and gets you in the movie to feel as it is real. Conjointly, it makes you think of it deeply after you have watched it.
By the way, there is a scene on the trailer which I found it as the scariest instance where (most likely) Katie is thrown towards the camcorder. Phewww… Genuinely terrifying but this part was never included in the movie as I was mostly waiting for this part while watching it.

This is by far the most scariest movie i’ve ever seen!!!!! my friends thought everything is real and are actual footages of the story!! but even though we learned later that is was just a film..My God!! it really is the scariest movie i’ve seen!!! i thought i would never see any scary movie again until after Exorcist…Good thing Steven Spielberg got this film..very good director and artists!

Sadly, kids today werent brought up with a lot of religion like they were in the 1970′s when we grew up. When we saw the Exorcist, we freaked out. Because we new that it was definetly a REAL possibilty and documented all over the world. Kids today don’t fear evil because they don’t understand the concept of good vs. evil. This is a great movie because it shows that you don’t mess with evil spirits, quija boards or anything else evil.

This movie was far from scary. I was never scared throughout the entire movie. But I did laugh at everything that happened in the film. I did not see this movie as a horror film, to me it was more of a comedy.

hmm i saw paranormal activity last night… maybe because of all the hype, because i know its just a movie, it nearly didn’t do squat in the scary department. the only thing that made me jump a little was when katie’s face morphed at the end…
