I’ll pass. There is nothing of interest here.
YES YES YES This looks AWESOME!!!!!!!
poor Laura. She thinks she sounds like a retard (her word not mine) over her comment. Laura dear, using the word retard actually makes you sound ignorant, not retarded.
Looks like a cheap-ass video game. I’m now 99% sure James Cameron is smoking the same stuff Tim Burton did while making Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And that’s baaaad stuff.
Looks good, not great. I’m thinking the action scenes will play out like the grand finale of “The Matrix Revolutions”. The movie will probably receive a B Plus, at best.
This movie is going to be a monumental bust. Not groundbreaking in the least – the CGI is on par with recent star wars trilogy. Hugely disappointing.

I’m worried. I hope this turns out better than the teaser hints at.
I’ve been curious ever since I heard about this project. When Cameron spent 30 minutes talking about it at E3, and didn’t show a picture or a single frame of footage, it really soured me on it. After seeing the original trailer, my curiosity came back, this trailer looks even better. I understand it’s not in the 3D that it’s meant to be seen in, but it looks damned good. Excluding Titanic, I thank Cameron is great, and I’m really looking forward to this movie.
Well, it certainly looks cool, but the effects are not the issue. I got the whole story line from this trailer and there isn’t one novel thing about it. Good man gets talked into bad actions (his legs! his legs!), finds out strip-mining is, indeed, evil, and winds up on the side of the indigenous folk. What’s new here? Doesn’t mean the film can’t be exciting and visually a knockout, but, honestly, why hitch it to s storyline that’s so mind-numbingly trite?
This movie is going to be awesome.
To all the people say that it looks fake. Please it looks amazing, besides I bet you are one of the morons that saw Transformers 2, yeah they looked real………………..
Id still take the first transformers over this movie anyday…Transformers looked 100% more realistic than this…it also didnt rely on a serious topic, and lets be honest a Jerry Bruckheimer/Micheal Bay movie is what it is..no one was ever going to give it an oscar!
TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT SAY “IT LOOKS PREDICTABLE AND NOTHING ORIGINAL” WHY DON’T YOU MAKE A MOVIE? WHATS STOPPING YOU FROM MAKING THE GREATEST MOST ORIGINAL MOVIE OF ALL TIME?
To the people who are bagging on the CGI, you’re a bunch of yahoos. Cameron developed a new 3D experience for this film. No, it’s not just stuff jumping at you. It is about depth of field, immersion in the environment. This film, if nothing else, is the beginning of a sea change in how we watch movies. But, I suspect, it will be much more than that, as well. Cameron knows characterization, action, and, above all, how to make an entertaining movie. Believe it.
The movie WILL be awesome and WILL be a big hit. No doubt. The Abyss was not mentioned because there is still much bad blood about it.
Look… this is supposed to be the great ‘achievement’ whereby a great director is FINALLY supposed to make CGI so real that it could accurately simulate people. James Cameron all but made this claim about his self-proclaimed revolutionary technology that is supposed to make real life people out of computer effects. And after seeing this trailer… it doesn’t take a genius to see that he has failed. Maybe somebody this will be a possibility. For now, prepare for something truly new from James “King of the World” Cameron: his first big flop.
