While I did find some plot details a little too convenient, I gave the show leeway (as others above also did) because this is the pilot episode and things need to be established.
(Although, I did not, in fact, have a problem with the ending. I mostly agree with the comments of the people above me on this point. Yes, Caffrey went there knowing that Burke would be able to follow. However, he did not actually enter; the bad guys are the ones that pulled him in. Plus, Burke was unaware of the plan. Also, they were able to see the evidence in plain sight, with no searching required. Was it a little too pat? Yes. Was it completely out of left field, throwing me out of the story? Nope.)
I liked the two main characters and thought they had nice chemistry. I also thought the show was light and fun. Will I be passionate about this show, rewatching and obsessing? No. Will I watch every week and coast through it, mostly enjoying it? Probably.
Loved Bomer since the short lived Traveler. He’s definitely ready to be a leading man…
I loved it. It was so much fun from start to finish. The guys were amazing, and it just zipped along leaving me with a big ol’ smile on my face.
After two months of dreadful pilots from the normal networks, how cool see a pilot I can honestly say I enjoyed.
Compared to the vast majority of crap that’s on television right now.. yes, you’re nitpicking. It was a decent premiere for what looks to be a decent show. If this is the most you have to complain about, I think you could just as easily overlook them. Personally, I loved it and hope the rest of the season is just as good. I’ve already watched it a few more times during it’s several repeats this week, and can’t wait for the next episode.
You should be a writer. Instead you sound like an ADD fat kid who is jealous of people making money for doing something with their lives.
p.s. Maybe you should NOT be watching this show. Maybe it’s not for you. It’s called a “PILOT” by the way, which the vast majority of viewers know….your post regarding this show sounds like that sketch about the blogger on the Saturday night Live news segment….get another diet coke and a cigarette and try to take something else that close to 10 million people enjoyed down. Absolutely hilarious post, it’s as if you applied for a job there and they rejected you or something, you sound like an idiot.
White Collar is innovative and by far the best TV series on air. Superb acting with a quick wit. Looking forward to each episode- right on!
I like Matt Bomer. I’ll watch it if nothing else is on. It’s kind of boring. The rest of the cast – including Tiffani Theisen can be replaced. Bad casting that’s for sure, except for Matt Bomer.
