Who (or what) is Muse?!?
Only the greatest band in the history of music! Ok, hyperbole aside, they’re a pretty good band from the UK and they tend to do prog rock style albums with songs about space, conspiracy theories, political corruption, etc. Their songwriting is a good fit for Adam Lambert. Here’s their current hit:
Toronto Tom..Muse is only the best friggen band in the WORLD! Actually they won an award yesterday saying such. I can’t believe they wrote a song for him. I’m definitely getting that album now. Gaga wrote a song for him, too. This will be my second favorite album of the year after Muse’s Resistance.
I think this guy is mad talented . . . Unfortunately, there is no way I’m walking into a store to purchase a CD with that cover. This is just too gay, lol.

Most people will download the album anyway, so the cover really doesn’t matter. MUSE is Adam’s favorite band, and he covered their version of “Feelin Good” on American Idol and their song “Starlight” at the concert. I LOVE Matthew Bellamy’s voice, and Adam has the range to pull off any MUSE song. He also has such respect for the band that he will do them proud. Look out, music world, glam cover or not, Adam is going to rock it! Pink, Lady Gaga, Muse, the list goes on. Everyone wants a piece of Adam because they know he can sing like NOBODY who has come before him. Hurry up with the single, RCA!
Get a grip. They merely gave previously written songs to him. It happens in the music biz everyday. What’s next? Adam takes a dump and you say it’s chocolate.
Less than 24 hours later- I am over the cover, and just want the songs to be great. I am stoked there is a song written by Muse in there. That makes me so happy that I don’t mind that the cover is ugly as sin.

Does anybody really think that this was SOLELY Adam’s idea? Seriously people. PR, 19 execs, art directors, market research…. It’s not like one day he took a snapshot and went “Yes, this is my cover!!!”
If this is what Adam wants and intended then so be it. He IS the Artist. Of course I can’t get enough of him so a picture of the whole man dressed to kill would have thrilled me. Oh yeah and I will keep the album cover when I get my CD.
He should have a cover that at least looks somewhat like he did on Idol so the casual fan doing their Christmas shopping will recognize him, and pick it up. Just stupid to not try to cast a bigger net on your debut.
The artists here have failed in their evaluations in this commentary area. Sorry, this is beautiful. It’s really a matter of opinion. I think this photo is like a painting. It’s amazing. I’ve seen a lot of art, and I don’t have a problem with it whatsoever. It’s cool. Besides, it’s all about the music.
