We reported yesterday on the global attempt to break a record for mass dancing which involved people around the world simultaneously performing the routine from Michael Jackson’s video for “Thriller.” There’s no official word yet as to whether the attempt was successful. But there are a number of videos from different parts of the globe documenting the so-called “Thrill the World” dancers (see below).
Were you one of those who shook a zombified leg yesterday in tribute to the King of Pop last night (or whatever part of the day it happened to be in your part of the world)? Or were you a witness to any of the events? Drop us a line!

Hi, how did you find out about the Thrill The World, I am in L.A. and there was nothing heard, not even on MJ.com…?
xo – tink
I found out at Examiner.com
I read about it by looking up Six Flags to see how much ticket prices were for Howloween night. It was on their home page.
I don’t think a lot of people knew cause the videos do not show a lot of people in them.
Forever will love and miss MJ.
I am sure they will have a lot of them the anniverasry of his death next year.
My 7 year old daughter and I danced at 6:30pm at West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada. It was amazing to be a part of it. Not to mention raising money for charity and dressing up like zombies sounds like a pretty sweet way to spend a saturday.

I think the influence of MJ is not even understood yet!!
YIU ARE SO RIGHT PEOPLE STILL DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT MICHEAL JACKSON DID IN THE FEILD OF MUSIC.FROMHIS VOICE TO HIS DANCE MOVES HE WAS A MASTER AT WHAT HE DID.IT IS WITH ASSURITY I CAN SAY THAT THERE WONT EVER BE SOMEONE LIKE HIM IN THE COMING FITURE.R.I.P MJ WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.
He gave more than just music and dance, SO much more. He gave a lot of money, and a lot of LOVE. I think it’s important that Michael Jackson is remembered not just for his talents, but the joy he gave to everyone that came in contact with him. Even those who didn’t know him personally, like me.

55 dancers Thrilled The World in Miami!
I was part of the leadership in Los Angeles, but bailed out of the attempt at the last minute when my claustrophobia set in. I’m glad too, because there definitely was not enough space at L.A. Live. We’re gonna need a football field next year.
