It would appear, Big Bang theorists, that Sheldon has finally found his Khan — or, maybe, his Kirk. Read the full post.

That Pennard line was hilarious. As was him telling Penny that “during” he was trying to remember what he googled…
Will Wheaton was fantastic and has to come back!
I like the fact that Leonard and Penny have a stable ongoing relationship on the show–it contrasts nicely with the love(less) lives of the rest of the geek crew (including the comic book guy and all the patrons at the store right down to Lonely larry!)
Sheldon is pure gold I agree. I hope they decide a revenge episode where Sheldon finally gets back at Weaton (perhaps a season finale?). SETTING: the San Diego Comic Con. Can you imagine? Weaton and Sheldon go at it and perhaps some famous actors could have cameo parts.
I agree, it’s nice to see a “geek” shown as something normal. We’re people, too!
I’m sure something will happen to mess the relationship up eventually. But a never ending storyline of Leonard’s hopeless Penny delusion would have gotten stale, so they had to do something. I kind of like them together. Leonard was always the most “normal” one of the Fab Four, so it makes sense that he would have a normal relationship.
I totally agree. I’m not a sci-fi geek but one non the less and it’s great to see a show that doesn’t make being a geek the side show. Rather Penny the odd on in this relationship. Great show. Great cast.
JMB exactly. Also I agree–the relationship will probably be ‘off’ during the long run (maybe even on and off) but I think in the end they will get together for good by the end of the entire series again (Im reminded of Eric Forman and Donna on That 70s Show). I hope the series end never comes or doesnt for a long long time. But I envision Leonard finally facing off with Penny’s brutish-very-little-frontal-lobe-activity-going-on-in-there Ex boyfriend and Leonard somehow beats him down. Remember the last time he saw him the Ex always humiliates Leonard. Maybe in the last episode of the entire series Leonard will prove he is the better man (which we already know he is–society needs more thoughtful geniuses and less brutish types).
ps oops sorry Wheaton not weaton (Im a classic trek fan –next gen just doesnt do it for me)
cameo: Nimoy or mabye even Shatner?
Shatner would be GOLD.
Great ep. This show is amazing in how it explores geekdom. The Klingon-speak was particularly fine (no doubt it’s spot on!). I hope Howard does kinda get a girlfriend cos his horn-dog act is the only thing that’s kinda tired here. And, after last week, where oh where was, Raj, for cow’s sake????
Where? By Sheldon’s side, most of the show.
I was mortified to see the four napkin system, because I do that too.
Let me tell you, this is by far one my favorite show on TV to date! I love Sheldon. Monday was AWESOME! To see him lose it like that was pure comedic genius. He was soooo funny. And Wolowitz and a girlfriend?! She has to become a recurring character. Great and funky chemisty they have. “Wheeeeeatonnnnn!” “My me-ma calls me Moonpie…” Please bring Wil Wheaton back.
I wanted Sheldon to best Wheaton. Regardless, I loved the episode. Anytime TBBT mentions “moonpie” it’s always a good episode,
On Sheldon’s list:
Rupert Murdoch, he owns Fox, Fox canceled Firefly.
Its such as you read my mind! You seem to grasp a lot approximately this, like you wrote the e-book in it or something. I believe that you could do with some p.c. to pressure the message home a little bit, but other than that, that is excellent blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
