You had me at Merritt Wever, The Missing Person. Michael Shannon, Amy Ryan, and the moodiest, darkest clips I’ve seen in ages? I’m filing The Missing Person under “trailers that knocked muh socks off.”
Looks good, right, PopWatchers? You’ll pay for the whole seat but you’ll only need the edge, etc. etc.

I love these kinds of movies. I think it looks great.
yawwwwwwn…. Didn’t the voiceover die with Mickey Spillane? Haven’t we all learned that mistake from comparing the theatrical Bladerunner against the far-superior director’s cut? Ugh! And what the heck is Strand Releasing doing with a film like this, set in the U.S.? What? Was Belgium taken?
Badger, your name is perfectly chosen.
I think this looks great. Nice to see Margaret Colin too.
The voiceover worked well with Memento, among others.
It definitely looks interesting but I’m still waiting for the “moody” “dark” and “edge of your seat” part.
I saw this at Sundance. It was the best film there. Forget about Precious or Push or whatever it is called now. And An Education and 500 Days Of Summer were also what you expect from Sundance these days. Missing Person, on the other hand, was utterly strange and fresh.
Aww man, this looks like my kind of movie.. the type that you find yourself thinking about days after you’ve watched it-just permeates.
hey guys… just saw this at an advanced screening this week in nyc and guess what? it’s actually premiering here in theaters tomorrow! didn’t expect that but I can’t wait to catch it again… 12 dollars well spent… michael shannon and amy ryan were AMAZING!
