We all have nervous ticks. I, for one, tend to play with my earrings when part of an awkward situation. (I do this a lot, considering most of my interactions are awkward.) But it looks like Twilight star Kristen Stewart has incorporated her tick — bottom lip-biting — into her bag of acting tricks. Just take a look at College Humor’s entertaining compilation of scenes featuring the young starlet’s lip-chomping:
This, naturally, brings up the question: Is Stewart’s lip gloss really that tasty, and if so, where can I get some? (And what flavor is it?! Any guesses?) And do any other actors boast aggravating on-screen ticks?

Back on The Creek, when Katie Holmes would have to react and look at somebody in their eyes, she would dart her eyes back and forth between her suitors. It was a bit distracting and then became humorous.

i was suprised they didnt show her bitting her lip a lot in into the wild. ALSO she tends to play with her hair a lot too. so annoying. Its obnoxious because it is distracting and also bitting your lip and shifting your hair is not acting, ugh

Actually, in the book Twilight, the character of Bella is described as having a nervous tick of biting her lip. So, Stewart is actually right on target.

The first and nowhere near last mention is in Twilight pg 22, “I bit my lip to hide my smile.” It continues throughout the series but you see it quite a bit more through Edward’s eyes in Midnight Sun.
Which would be fine if she didn’t do it in EVERY SINGLE MOVIE. That would mean it’s Kristen’s nervous tic, not the character’s.
yes I agree,with both – it seems to be her thing she does in her movies, but dont all actors have a tick?

It’s a major turn-on when girls bite their lower lips, IMO. It’s not enough to make me enjoy the misogynist dreck that is “Twilight”, but it made the already excellent “Adventureland” all the more awesome.

That was lame. Not even worth watching. She’s been in at least a dozen movies and someone bothered to put together a 30 second clip of her biting her lip in scenes from just 2 movies?!
She does it because she has no talent. Also, she looked like a boy for most of her career.
That is fantastic. Reminds me a lot of the shia labeouf no no no no no video. If you have never seen it, search for it. It is hilarious.
kristen stewart is the best actress of our generation (just like rob said) and if she has a habit of biting her lower lip IDC as long as she keeps on doing a good job… GO KRISTEN
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. I think she definitely has potential because she is interesting, but she still has a little ways to go.
She is hot IDC what she does w her lip or hair. Something about her just gets me.
