Alynda Wheat's Beat Cop: Having fun storming the 'Castle'

There was a book? All this time there was an actual, buyable, readable Castle book and nobody told me? I mean sure, I could’ve read Read the full post.

Did anyone else catch Castle feed the birds with Esposito, or was it just me?

I’m glad Cameron’s leaving. Couldn’t stand her character. And the actress’s portrayal.

Your recaps are right on (which basically means I agree with you!)
Aa far as CSI:Miami–don’t we just watch it for laughs? I think it is hilarious!

  • Mo

CSI:Miami? Are you kidding? That’s when Castle is on!
Love how they’re letting Beckett embrace her inner fan girl without losing her edge with Castle. Utterly charming show.

Regarding Law & Order – I don’t think Van Buren was blowing off McCoy – they’ve worked together for 15 years. It was more that she’s been trying to be business-as-usual about it, putting up a brave, almost nonchalant front. Even when Bernard told her he was sorry about the news in the 1st episode, she was abrupt.

I think you’re right, Cassie. I mean, I don’t think she was trying to be snippy. But having fought to get where she is (remember the lawsuit she filed against the department?), I think she’s very conscious of trying to appear professional and maintain a sense of authority.

Note to EW – I really disliked this double recap thing. Wading through these comments has been kinda weird – Castle House Castle House House House Castle. They just aren’t enough alike to work. Sorry.

Anita, this column covers ALL procedurals, and as such, will always be a mixture of several shows, so that we get to everything within a fairly timely manner. House and Castle are occasionally reviewed individually by other writers on the site.

What about Scarecrow and Mrs King? Didn’t they start off platonic and develop a relationship midway through the series and eventually get married. I barely remember, I was just a kid.

I believe they got married in the laslt season of the series, which doesn’t make them a good example. Same way with Remington Steel. I loved that show, but I was always so frustrated about the will they or won’t they. There were many episodes that left off with them kissing that I just let my imagination take over.

Glad to see some coverage for Castle. While a lot of people have been ignoring it, the cast has slowly become a tight little mixture of comedy and formulaic drama. The good thing is I could really care less who the killer is…it’s the banter I live for. Who knew Susan Sullivan had it in her? This show could become a hit yet.

Castle is the most underrated show on TV. Just because it’s not a ratings grabber it’s overlooked. This show is fantastic! (The book, by the way, is great) Wouldn’t it be great for EW to highlight this show on it’s cover? (I’m a subscriber who wants to see something DIFFERENT besides Twilight, Jon and Kate, or anyone in the music business) People need to know what this show is about!

ITA that 13 and Foreman have absolutely no chemistry together and reflect yet another bad decision by David Shore that he’ll never admit to. Unfortunately this episode also demonstrated 13 on her own isn’t any better – it was nauseating watching time being wasted on her silly cab and plane issues that would have been better spent on the child patient and his father, and the actual medicine on this show. Why couldn’t the writers given us Wilson and some clinic patients instead, something that is actually interesting and watchable?

    • Amarantha

      What does ITA mean?

  • XУЛИГAH

Я бы еще кое-что добавил конечно же, но по сути сказано все.

Любопытная тема, продолжайте. Иногда нахожу ответы, которые получить самому просто реально не хватает времени. Спасибо вам огромное!
