Ryan Seacrest returned to the pages of New Moon this morning to finish reading Bella and Edward’s breakup scene on his radio show. Wait for the end, when he delivers the final line with such passion: “Love, life, meaning… [blows out candle] over.” It would have gone viral had the book actually caught fire. Fingers crossed for next time!

I’m a Twilight fan, but still, was it really necessary to write an article about this? There’s nothing more interesting going on in the entertainment world than Ryan Seacrest reading a few pages of New Moon?
Is this an article, or a tiny blog entry? Also, when will we realize this PopWatch blog is about any and all things the writers may find interesting? That is not a synonym for relevant. This is not another report on all things Twilight.
Dear Susan,
Shut up. Your comment is pointless. Not one article in this entire magazine, nor any product of the entertainment world is “necessary.” If you want to make editorial decisions for EW, become an editor, and get hired by EW. Good luck.
PopWatch is a blog, yo. Don’t want to read this article? SCROLL DOWN. Let your finger do the walking and please refrain from talking.
I thought it was funny! Now I want to dramatically read random passages with music going in the background. Awesome.
Creepy that a middle aged man would read a little girl’s novel on the air. Disturbing grab for ratings.
Even more disturbing, you can’t seem to see that is was a joke. Did you happen to note the laughter in the studio… implies that it’s a joke. Get it?
Why is he reading a book on the air? This is what he does when he’s not reading a teleprompter??
wait, Ryan Seacrest can read? what?
LOL. Go on … make fun of Ryan. He don’t care as he laughs his a** off all the way to the bank.
My friends drive me insane with these books and I drive them insane with my Ryan crush. This brings us all together lol! Ryan has career number 337 as a reader of Audio books!
This is inspiring me to start my own series of dramatic Twilight readings.
LMFAOOOOOOO.
I died when he almost burned the book…LOL…but then the sappy music he suddenly turned on was way too much. HAHA i almost pissed my pants.
“This is not funny! I dont know why she’s laughing.”
Ah, Ryan. You gotta love him.
