That whole “guys don’t make passes at girls who wear glasses” era is way, way over if Shirley Manson is any indication. The Garbage singer works it in various specs with Elijah Wood for the 2010 campaign from eyewear company Oliver Peoples, photographed by Autumn De Wilde. More photos of these gorgeous folks in sunnies and specs will launch on the Oliver Peoples website in November.
They got me thinking, who are the other hotties wearing glasses? Jarvis Cocker is the top of my personal list. Tina Fey looks fab in her glasses as Liz Lemon but I’m always disappointed when she ditches them on the red carpet.

Many ditch them on the red carpet because deep down we will always discriminate at least a bit if someone has glasses and find them less appealing

Johnny Depp-sometimes they work for him, sometimes against.
Bono- if the the light hurts his eyes so badly he should just slip a bag over his head. So very naff.
Right! Jarvis is super sexy with specs. Without them, he looks like a blind Conan O’ Brien or Tom Green.
